Centennial Airlines was founded in 1993. It operated charter services from its base in Mallorca using McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft. Owing to fierce competition from other airlines that pushed charter fares down, the airline's relatively small size compared to its Northern European competitors and the lack of significant amounts of passenger bookings during the winter season, Centennial Airlines soon faced serious financial difficulties. Input from the "World Design Team" was taken into acount when
Boeing designed he 7E7. Delta Air Lines, Inc. has not made any
mention of buying the 7E7. Boeing has selected General Electric
and Rolls-Royce to be the engine manufacturers. This paint job
shows GE logos. The aircraft is named "Clipper C.E. Woolman".Original
