It will work fine in a piston-powered helicopter, but the Torque gauge will be disabled. Also, the Radio Altimeter is keyed to read zero when on the ground only in the Bell206. FS2004, Bora Bora Airport, French Polynesia, Motu Mute, NTTB Description: The Bora Bora airport is located on one of the Motus, which surround the Island of Bora Bora. The Motus are raised coral reefs which act as break waters, and create the beautiful turquoise lagoons which surround the French Polynesian Islands. This scenery is a complete remake of the original, and is now much more accurate as to what the airport looks like. It contains the main terminal, a fire station attached to the tower with fuel tanks, open air hangar structures, two helipads, and wood stairs taking you down to the boat docks where you are transported to the main island. FS2004 CH-46 Update. This is an update for FS2004, of the CH-46 Sea Knight by Rory Kelly (required here). I have added float points and scrape points to the contact points, as well as the other 3 wheels. I have added a 2D panel with toggles for GPS, radios,etc. I have changed the touchdown and spray effects. I have not tried to update the flight dynamics. Bob Chicilo. 296K

USA Southern States USGS 10 metre mesh terrain - FSX only. This constitutes 10 metre terrain mesh for a section of the USA, The whole USA East mesh files will abutt the US West Coast 10m mesh already available, that was made by: Raimondo Taburet. Make sure you have your scenery terrain settings at about 5 metres in the FSX display dialogue for the mesh to show properly! Batch 10 also contains 10 metre mesh for an area below 33 degrees latitude on the western part of the USA, this was missing in Raimondo Taburet's files. See jpg for coverage. FSX/Acceleration/FS2004 Amphibious Floatplane Bartini Beriev VVA-14 in two versions. This strange looking aircraft was a soviet prototype for an amphibious concept, planned for a VTOL version with 14 engines; therefore the name VVA-14. The first version was a konventional one with gear but no floats and made its first flight in September 1972. Later inflatable rubber floats were installed but the aircraft was not able to go airborne. Finally the inflatable floats were replaced with solid floats, the bow was streched and got two additional jet engines. The design gives you no answer if this monster is an aircraft, a hydroplane, a flying catamaran boat or an alien spaceship from starwars. The wreck can be visited at the Molino museum near Moscow. The second prototype went lost in a fire and the VTOL version, planned for anti submarine warfare, was never built. As FS-model you can fly both version of the first prototype with great handling on ground, in air and on water: One with animated inflatable rubber floats and the other with solid floats.
