The Royal Aircraft Factory's S.E.5.a went tooth and nail with the Sopwith Camel for the accolade of being the finest British fighting aeroplane of World War I. Designed by a team which included the legendary H. P. Folland, the first prototype was unveiled in December, 1916. The craft utilised a 150-HP Hispano-Suiza engine with a large, automotive-style radiator and truncated exhaust manifolds. The S.E.5.a was widely regarded as a tough opponent by the enemy and as a good friend in the air by its pilots. It was robust, fast, and very easy to fly. The aircraft remains extremely popular among early aviation history buffs and WWI aficionados, and replicas abound, in both full- and smaller-scale versions. Excellent reproductions of the plane can be seen in the films "The Aviator" and "Flyboys", but the best place to see the S.E.5.a in action is in the restored version of Howard Hughes' "Hell's Angels". Sion LSGS, Turtmann LSMJ and Raron LSMN are part of hard surface airports located in Valais / Wallis in the Swiss Alps. This package contains modified airports files for these three locations and a traffic file for the area. I corrected the elevation altitude reference of the default helipad in Sion in accordance with the airport's elevation. This avoids a crash or a "sinking in the ground helicopter" when landing on the default helipad at Sion airport. For the rest I added parkings, gates, links etc. to allow AI traffic in Turtmann and Raron and on both runways in Sion. The traffic file has general aviation flight plans in the area. This is Chris Herring's Hawker Demon For Flight Simulator X. The Hawker Demon was Built as a two-seat fighter version of the Hawker Hart bomber, the Demon first flew in February 1933. The Demon was to be the first two-seat fighter operated by the Royal Air Force after World War I, and was the last two-seat biplane fighter to be manufactured in significant numbers. Powered by a Rolls Royce Kestrel V12 engine, the aircraft was faster than many of the single-seat aircraft at the time, but was soon outclassed by the new generation of monoplane fighters entering service in the mid to late 1930s.. This is an update for FSX Acceleration of the Piper Arrow 3 package by Warren Baier. I have updated the flight dynamics and changed the panel to all default gauges, and taken the autopilot out of the radio stack and given it a window of its own. Most of the virtual cockpit gauges are not clickable, but they do work other than that. You need the original aircraft for this update to work. Bob Chicilo.

FS2004 P-51B Mustang "Miss Dallas". This package is the stand-alone WWII mustang repaint of JR Lucariny's excellent P-51B with his permission. It's the plane of Ace Victor J France of the 4 FG who had 8.66 kills. While chasing and downing a Me-109 at low altitude, his plane was lost.
