Revive the history aboard the Covered Wagon USS Langley (the first aircraft carrier of the US navy). On Oct. 17, 1922 Lieut. V.C. Griffin, in a Vought VE-7SF, took off from the USS Langley at anchor in the York River, Virginia, making the first take-off from an aircraft carrier.Took off from USS Langley at anchor in the York River, (Virginia) and land at Norfolk, (Virginia) where the plane will be loaded on to the Langley after the mission done. On 26 October 1922, Lieutenant Commander Godfrey de Chevalier, USN, flew his Aeromarine 39-B on to the flight deck of the United States Navy's first aircraft carrier, USS Langley (CV-1), while cruising off Cape Henry, Virginia.Chevalier had launched from the Navy's Yorktown Naval Aviation Field at Yorktown, Virginia. I am proud to present this CRJ-900 in the excellent Project Opensky CRJ-900 V3 model in the beautiful Libyan Arab Airlines livery. This airframe, bearing registration 5A-LAD, is one of 5 CRJ9's in the Libyan Arab fleet and occasionally makes flights between Tripoli International (HLLT) and London Heathrow (EGLL), attesting to the range capabilities of this narrow-body aircraft handling Libyan Arab's low volume international routes. This is a detailed repaint with custom textures. All logos including the Arabic rendition of "Libyan Arab Airlines" are hand painted. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete installation package; version 2008.1.1 of the Project Opensky CRJ-900 V3 model is included. A special thanks to Chris Conrad, a fellow simmer who inspired this project.

These airports are with more detail than the FSX standard airports. This Svalbard/Spitzbergen package consists of two airports. ENSB is the Svalbard Longyear airport. It is only a correction/update of the Standard FSX with buildings and aprons but with more objects (marina, radar station, buildings and cars). EN67 is a little small runway called Broggerhalvoya airport. Near EN67 I placed also some additional objects like a marina, observatory, lakes and a small research station (=town Ny-Alesund). FSX Pilotable Passenger ferry boat FUNCHAL. This GMAX ai-model is made by Henrik Nielsen and and belongs to his huge ai-fleet package "179_ai_ships_and_ai_ship_traffic.zip". His fleets brings ship traffic into the empty sea of the default FSX and more reality into empty harbours. The real ship was buildt in 1961 in Denmark and was equipped with 2 steam turbine engines. It sailed for Portuscale Cruises between Lissabon and Madeira as passenger and ferry ship. 1972/73, converted to a cruise ship with Diesel engines it sailed until 2013. This project adds and updates all of the airports of Bhutan. Bathpalathang (VQBT) and Gelephu (VQGP) are added, Yongphulla (VQ10) is updated and recoded as VQTY, and Paro (VQPR) is fully updated to reflect current satellite imagery. These are all fully functioning AI airports as well. Special attention was given to the entire Paro Valley, and numerous road/river vectors were updated around Gelephu. Accurate coastlines, lakes, road and river data, as well as corrected landclass are provided based on the latest available satellite imagery. They are optimized to fit seamlessly with FTX Vector's roads/water, but they should be fully functional in all FSX configurations. GA-encoded flight plans for the Buddha Air/Kathmandu charter are provided to enhance service to Paro. NASA SRTM Global 3 arc second terrain mesh is also included for all of Bhutan. Updates were created or rebuilt in a manner which carefully aligned airport data with current satellite imagery, when available. Scenery was created using Airport Design Editor X v1.61.5298, SBuilderX 3.13, and the FSX Object Placement Tool. Scenery objects were added and modified from stock FSX scenery to resemble as closely as possible the actual airports. (See update above)
