The Akron Rigid Airship: This is my impression of the U.S. Naval Airship, the " Akron", based on some old photos.The Akron made her first flight to Washington. The Airship was commmissioned a U.S. Naval Vessel on November 2, 1931. The Akron ran into a storm off the New Jersey Coast on April 3, 1933 and crashed into the sea. Seventy Three men perished aboard the ship. It signaled the beginning of the end of an era of lighter than air ships. The interior panel is by Casey Priscialla and the zeppelin soiunds are by Lennart Olsson. The Model was designed by Frank J. Petriccione. 1.7MB

FS 2002 / FS 2004 North American P-51D Mustang in the livery of 4th Fighter Group, Republic of China Air Force, circa 1946 - Textures only. This aircraft was the personal mount of Col. FS2004 Boeing 797 Air Canada. There are as yet no official plans for any Boeing 787 or 797. Up until a couple years ago, most people believed Boeing's next major project might be a follow-on to the 747 to compete with Airbus's super-jumbo A380. While Boeing pushed developing an upgraded 747 model, most airlines indicated that they would prefer an entirely new design instead. The only publicly released concept I've come across for this potential new-build aircraft is shown below. Boeing's internal designation for this design study was the 763-246C. If it had gone into production, it would likely have been rechristened the 787 to conform to the standard Boeing naming convention. Model & textures by J R Lucariny. 2.1MB

This program was designed with ease of use in mind for selecting a random airport to begin flying in FS2004. The program will display the airport ICAO code then co-ordinates. I am a 15 year old aviation enthusiast that loves flying and ATC, but hate having to choose an airport to depart from and arrive at, or to control. This program has now removed this to make my flight more random with less decisions to make. I also like to explore areas I haven't been before, again this selects a random airport, from thousands of different ones, so exploring is inevitable. The only installation required is to copy the Airports.txt file to the route of your hard drive C: or D: (for more drives e-mail me as above), then run the respective program for that drive from any folder you wish. Airports.txt: This file was collected from my FS2004 and contains every airport in it. Currently the program selects a line at random and displays it, whether a large international airport or small grass field. You could edit the file just to contain your favourite airports and it will NOT affect the running of the program as long as the file remains as Airports.txt. I am hoping in future versions to allow you to select a type of airfield, i.e. large, medium or small or select from runway length, though this will take a while to produce, if ever. This is an original model of the B-25H. The model features breaking parts, has a full DVC and is LODed for higher framerates. The objective being to provide a good mixture of realism and performance. This particular version is skinned by the incomparable Sopwith Chameleon as'Umbrella Girl'.
