CFS2 Ju290-A7 Seeadler. When the Ju 290 replaced the Fw 200 as the Luftwaffe long-range maritime reconnaissance aircraft in the autumn of 1943, the crews were given a far more capable aircraft than the old Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor. But only 65 Ju 290s were built, and the total number of aircraft available was never higher than about 20. FS2002 Pitt's S2B of Harv's Air Service. This aircraft is an advanced aerobatic trainer, that is currently operated in southern Manitoba, Canada by Harv's Air Service. This is the only S2B that is Commercially registered in Canada. Curtis Pitts began the development of what soon became known as the Pitts Special in 1942. Pitt's biplane weighed around 500 lbs and first flew in 1945. The original 55hp Lycoming engine, was soon replaced by a 90hp engine. By 1969 Curtis Pitts had set up production in Afton Wyoming.
