FS2004/FSX Fairey Firefly T Mk2 Warbird The Firefly T Mk2 was basically an F.1 converted for use as a deck-landing conversion and instrument-flying trainer. The raised rear cockpit was occupied by the instructor and was raised by 12 inches above the normal position. This was to improve the vision by its occupant in landing. The planes were usually unarmed, although a few carried two 20mm cannon. The Canadian Navy operated two types of Firefly trainers: The T Mk 1 and the T Mk 2. The T Mk 1 being a two-seat dual control, unarmed, deck landing conversion trainer. The T Mk 2 was the tactical weapons trainer having two 20mm cannons and a synchronised Gyro gunsight in each cockpit. Textures by Morton. GMAX model by A.F.Scrub.

Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat. The A-22 'Foxbat' is available as a Ready-To-Fly factory built aircraft or as an advanced kit. Building time for the kit is 300 to 500hrs. Designed by former Antonov design engineer, Yuri Yakovlev , the A-22 is one of a line of many aircraft produced by Aeroprakt in the Ukraine. Construction is aluminium with some parts of the wing and control surfaces covered with Ceconite. The A-22 is powered by the reliable Rotax 912 or 912S engine, and the 3-blade composite ground adjustable propellor from KievProp is very quiet. A cabin width of 120cm (128cm at the elbows) ensures ample room for pilot and passenger. As a comparison, the cabin with of a Cessna 172 is 100cm and a Jabiru SP is 97cm (107cm at the elbows). Transparent doors with convex sides allow for excellent downward visibility. The instrument panel has room for a generous instrument layout. Dual controls are standard with options of either conventional control yokes or a centre stick. A centre stick with a "Y" grip is also available. Basic VFR flight and engine instruments are included with the ready-to-fly aircraft. A stall speed of 50kph (30mph) using the full span flapperons puts the A-22 safely into the microlight category. The all round visibility from the A-22 is spectacular. The aircraft has a baggage compartment that allows up to 20kg to be carried.

You are visiting the Kakadu National Park when you get a call from a strange Aussie who says he is Captain Ron's brother.. In between inviting you to the pub for a beer he seems angry about crocodile poachers in the park. He has organised a guide to help you look for them. There is a flight plan in your GPS. This mission is designed to be flown without the mission compass but you can enable it if you wish. There are no mission pointers. If you cannot find the poachers there are some spoilers on the knee board. The mission takes about 45 minutes, with an option for an extra 45 minute ferry job to Darwin.

FS2004 - Sukhoi Su-15T -'FLAGON-A' Package. Developed to replace the Su-11 'Fishpot-C' interceptor during the 1960s, the Sukhoi Su-15 first appeared as a scaled-up version of the Su-9/Su-11 family but powered by two engines and utilizing twin side inlets. These design changes freed up space in the new solid nose for a large radar, and powerful engines were installed to insure the Su-15 would fly considerably faster than any known Western aircraft of the time. The first production 'Flagon-A' models featured a mid-mounted cropped delta wing, swept tailsurfaces, and a large bubble canopy placed aft well of the conical nose.
