FS2004, Moorea Airport, Temae, French Polynesia, NTTM Description: This version completely redoes the previous with a more accurate representation of the entire airport. It contains four distinct areas including the main terminal, a fictional sea plane pier and shelter, rudimentary hangars, and some Polynesian huts along with a pier and sail boats in the bay just down from the airport. This Island is the closest to Tahiti, and you can even see the Tahiti airport from it. The other outer Society Islands will be coming soon. It is suggested that you also download the file Fpsimesh.zip, which has been made for FS2004, and provides a very nice alternative to the boring terrain which FS has put in this most beautiful area of the world. FS2002 / FS2004 MD-83 Alleigant Airlines, N862GA The DC-9-83 (MD83) is a development of the earlier DC-9 series with new avionics and aerodynamics. N862GA is operated by Allegiant Airlines in their "New Old Color" scheme. Allegiant is a Scheduled and Charter Airline that is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and services locations sucha as Denver, Boston, and Milwaukee on scheduled services and flies NCAA and professional sports teams under its charter services. FS2004 Lockheed L-1649A Starliner, Version 1.0 (W.I.P.) The Starliner marked the end of the line of Constellation designs. It had an entirely new wing of greatly increased span (150 feet as opposed to 123 feet on the "Super G" Constellation), more powerful Wright R-3350 engines spaced further outboard for reduced cabin noise levels, and a strengthened undercarriage to support a gross weight of 160,000 lbs (138,000 lbs on the Super G). It was designed to fly the polar routes Los Angeles-London or Paris-Tokyo in just over 21 hours non-stop, and it established numerous long-distance records, many of them still current today. Providing accommodation for ninety-two tourist-class or twenty-six first-class and forty-five tourist-class passengers, the Starliner entered service with TWA in May 1957. Other operators included Air France and Lufthansa. It was arguably the largest, widest-range, and most expensive piston-engine airliner of its day (reportedly $3,219,550.00). While, in the real world, work has begun on bringing one of surviving Starliners back to flying status, you can get the factory-fresh prototype, fittingly registered N1649, for nothing here. Cannon AFB Viper Tail flashes. This package contains "tail textures only" to represent the 522nd Fighter Squadron (FS) F-16C/D vipers. This squadron was inactivated on 21 Dec 2007 due to BRAC 2005 and most of the jets distributed to Des Moines, Iowa. The 522nd FS is the only Air Force unit ever to fight as an infantry. After the bombing of Pear Harbor, the 522nd FS was caught in the Phillipines without it's planes. As POWs, they were forced into the Bataan Death March.
