FS2004 Westland WG 33. Built in 1977 at Yeovil, Somerset and intend to be a 2-seat light reconnaissance helicopter powered by either a Plessey Meon turboshaft engine or one/two piston engines. Following on from experience gained during the development of remotely piloted helicopters Westland started investigations in 1977 into a light two seat helicopter that could be used for aerial reconnaissance without the need for a skilled pilot. The two crew sat side-by-side in a circular fuselage giving excellent all round visibility. Having built a mock-up in 1977 to show prospective customers, the project soon faltered due to a lack of interest or funding by the UK Ministry of Defence and in early 1979 the project was formally abandoned. 1.1MB

On April 26, 1936, the world was informed that a specialy modified version of the Luftwaffe's single-seat fighter had raised the world air speed record to 755,11 km/h (469,22 mph). Later, Messerschmitt tried to make a fighter out of the Me 209. One experimental plane was built, the Me 209 V4. FSX Gauges: FW190 Cannon Effect gauge. This freeware package contains visible/audible machinegun/cannon effects plus control gauge, as addon for the Classics Hangar FW190 for FSX (payware). The effects are activated either by mouseclicking the gun switch in the VC, or by a key / joystickbutton that generates repetitive FSX "CarbHeat On/Off" commands. It also uses/controls details specific for this FW190 package, like Nose/Wingroot Armswitches, ammo counters and wingroot machinegun/cannon model-dependancy.
