The North American P-51 Mustang was the most successful, most versatile fighter of World War II (1939-1945). Designed in 1940 for Britain, the first prototype XP-51 was finished in just 117 days. The EAA Museum's XP-51 was the last of the four prototypes built by North American Aircraft in 1940, and the first P-51 delivered to the US Army Air Forces. XP-51 #4 was acquired by the EAA after years in storage at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum. It was completely restored in 1975-76. It flew in the Oshkosh air show from 1976 until its retirement in late 1982. GMAX model (tested in FSX Acceleration and FS2004) by A.F.Scrub.

FS2004 Himalayas LOD9 Base Mesh - Kashmir Detailed terrain mesh of N30°-39° E76°-78° based on Shuttle Radar (SRTM) data but with many of the void areas filled with elevation models generated from topographic maps by Jonathan de Ferranti. This is a major panel and cockpit update for A.F. Scrub's Ju-87 Stuka package featuring a completely reworked and enhanced VC and petty much authentic gauges and panel configuration.The flight dynamics have also been optimized, so now the plane takes off in decent time and flies pretty stable. In additon to the original 4 repaints I've included a unique "Desert Snake" repaint by Wolfgang Faber and his team. Gun effects by Erwin Welker. The model was originally designed for CFS2 as far as I know, so credits go to the original designers (team Wolfgang Faber). Also thanks to A.F. Scrub for his earliar FS9/ FSX conversion. This is the Project Opensky FSX native Boeing 747-400 model, and includes ground cargo servicing, stairs (FSX - Go to Views - Instrument Panel -Posky Utility. In P3D go to Vehicle - Instrument panel - Posky Utility), opening nose section and more. Included CF engine sounds from BrandonG, with realistic jet whine to make your flight sound great.
