FSX/P3D Airbus A330-303 XL Airways France, registration F-XHLF. Based at Paris CDG, this aircraft made its maiden flight on October 25th 2012, and was delivered to XL Airways France a month later, on November 30th 2012. Recently, it has mostly been assigned to the Paris CDG - Newark Liberty Intl. route, but occasionaly it also flies to Nice Cote-d'azur. The XL Airways fleet also features three A330-200s but F-XHLF is currently the only A330-300. This is the Thomas Ruth A333 GE native model. The VC panel is also Thomas Ruths, with updates from Louis Quintero, Chris Evans and Philippe Marion. It includes: New backup altimeter and backup airspeed gauges, cockpit sounds, integrated Head-up Guidance System (HGS), FMC by Garret Smith, TCAS V2 by Dietmar Loleit, improved night lighting, New 32x32 panel icons and Neo cabin view. Other features include: New Air file, extended V1 gauge, altitude callout gauge, original GE CF6-80 engine sounds by Patrick Cramer with some updates. New effects and lights, jetway ready, 6 contact points landing gear and wheel sink fix. FMC manuals included. Tested with FSX Acceleration but should work in P3D V3/V4. Package contains 3 aircraft. The Bartel BM-4a, BM-4h and BM-5d trainer was a Polish biplane aircraft, the first plane of Polish design put into production. Used from 1929 to 1939 by the Polish Air Force,manufactured in the Wielkopolska Aircraft Factory WWS "Samolot" in Poznan. All Bartel training aircrafts had very good handling, high stability and the total spin resistance, provide high security in primary training. Aircraft constructed from wood, canvas and aluminum characterized by interchangeability of the upper and lower wings and the standardization of parts and materials. The airplane reproduced on the basis of drawings and photos. As far as the documentation allowed equipment of the cockpits. is fully reconstructed. By Rob Kowalski.

FS2004 DC-8-53 KLM-VIASA Textures only. Repaint by Jaap de Baare. One of the first DC-8's that were leased from KLM to VIASA Venezuela. This aircraft was an odd one in terms of the usual external decorations. It had a "split" paint job. One side remained in the existing KLM colours while the other side received the livery of VIASA Venezuela. Original DC-8-53 model by the Historic Jetliners Group (here) is needed to see the result. 1.7MB

FS2004 RAF Coningsby. situated in the county of Lincolnshire, UK. Originally a large bomber airfield, it opened during the Royal Air Forces expansion period, late 1930's. It was expanded in the 1950's to accommodate the Vulcan bombers. Better known in recent years as the home to part of Britain's defensive fleet of F4 Phantom's, and F3 Tornado's, Coningsby is now home to the Operational Conversion Unit for the Typhoon. This is one of a series of UK military bases, and has been built to be compatible with the UK VFR scenery. These scenery files were payware. They are now freeware. Steve Anderson. 3.1MB

FS2004 BAE Harrier T4a VAAC. This is the two seat T4 version of the BAW Harrier. It comes in the Quintec Ripple colours. Under the hood of the latest Harrier is a revolutionary new system called vectored-thrust aircraft advanced flight control (VAAC). Designed by QinetiQ's predecessor, DERA, with funding from the US-UK Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Office, VAAC uses advanced "fly by wire" technology to turn over many of the Harrier's flight characteristics to computers. This makes the aircraft much simpler to fly and enables engineers to fine-tune it quickly for improved handling, based on pilot feedback between sorties.
