FS2004/FSX St. George / Mesquite (KSGU, 67L), Utah (UT) / Nevada (NV) Photo Scenery
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
95.58Mb (2318 downloads)
FS2004/FSX St. George / Mesquite (KSGU, 67L), Utah (UT) / Nevada (NV) photo-scenery Package. This scenery covers the area between St. George, Utah and Mesquite, Nevada. To the north of St. George the Pine Valley Mountains with their foothills of scenic red sandstone loom over the city. St. George Municipal Airport (KSGU) is mostly used for general aviation but is also served by SkyWest Airlines on behalf of Delta Connection. Because of it's location on a mesa this airport can't be expanded and so a new airport is currently being built southeast of the city at the site of an abandoned airfield. The opening is expected in 2011. To the south of the city make sure, you don't miss the Virgin River Gorge where the Virgin River winds thru a long winding canyon in the transition zone between the red rocks of southern Utahs Colorado Plateau and Nevadas Mojave Desert. Shortly afterwards you reach Mesquite which is situated just west of the Arizona stateline. Like nearly all Nevada cities near the stateline Mesquite is home to several Casinos. Mesquite Airport (67L) lies just north of the city. By Gottfried Razek.

FSX Junkers Ju-90 Updated
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
25.02Mb (2317 downloads)
Deutsche Luft Hansa put a request for a long-distance commercial aircraft as early as 1933. When the Ju 89 program was abandoned, the third prototype was partially completed and at the request
of Lufthansa, it was rebuilt as an airliner, retaining the wings and tail of the original design but incorporating a new, wider passenger-carrying fuselage.
The new design was designated the Ju 90.
The package features 4 civil and 1 military
models and both a completely re-worked and enhanced vc with as many German gauges as possible. Also, the 2D panel matches the VC. Original FS2004 model by Hauke Keitel, Rolf Uwe Hochmuth and Claudio Mussner, earliar FSX update by A.F. Scrub. New VC and 2D panel configuration by Michael Pook.

Kassel Airport, Germany. High Detail
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
50.22Mb (2317 downloads)
Kassel Airport went into operation in April 2013. The 4th version of this FSX-Add-On now approaches the reality with photo-realistic ground textures, accurate buildings, runways, taxiways and the official approaches with waypoints, localizers and glide paths. More than 1200 objects, 55 individual scenery-models, approx. 100 custom ground polygons and lines have been created. One big problem was to adopt the FSX terrain to fit the new airport.

FSX/FS2004 Weathered Airport Signs, Taxiway Markings
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
3.32Mb (2317 downloads)
Weathered look for the airport/taxiway signs, taxiway lines etc. The wear and tear is always missing in Flight simulator and this texture will add more realism to it. The airport signs bmp file is also compatible with FS2004.

FS2004
Uluru - formerly known as Ayer's Rock, Australia.
(Category: FS2004 > Scenery)
3.80Mb (2317 downloads)
FS2004
Uluru - formerly known as Ayer's Rock, Australia.
This is Uluru, the rock in the middle of the desert in Australia.
The original in FS was very poor, and it didn't look anything
like the photographs. This one does, and even has a bit of a
red texture at night. Uluru was re-named Ayer's Rock for a while,
but it is officially back at being Uluru, as it should. I had
to use trickery to make it show at great distances, and you
will just notice a flicker at the 30 km mark, more or less.
The Connellan airport, YAYE, is all my own invention. I tried
very hard to get any information about it, but didn't get replies
from anyone (If you have any info, drop me a line at fernmarques@yahoo.com).
The airport includes my own beacon tower, with which I am very
happy, and I have to thank Arno Gerretsen for teaching me how
to do it. I think that the Qantas traffic looks great, thanks
to Brad Disher's beautiful Boeing 737! Done by Fern Marques.
