openVFR Switzerland POI (points of interest)
0.05Mb (2274 downloads)
FSX openVFR Switzerland POI (points of interest). openVFR is a free scenery for FSX based on data taken from OpenStreetMap (OSM). The goal of this project is to enhance the world in MS Flight Simulator and bring a completely new level of realism to VFR pilots, who mainly navigate visually. As the standard scenery doesn't fulfil their needs this project has taken a lot of different information from the open streetmap project, including land use information, leisure information, natural information, railways, roads, waterways and point of interests (POI). By Markus Freyt. Note: This file is experimental state. Up to now you' ll need to have a very powerful computer to run these scenery addon. Native FSX APLHA Vulcan B2 revised package (fixed)
118.75Mb (2273 downloads)
Revised Native FSX APLHA Vulcan B2 package. Revised, fixed and re-uploaded. FSX converted model with 'original' VC done by Cirrus N210MS at SOH (simouthouse). Releases of this aircraft up till this date did lack some vital implementations like radios and proper flaps implementation, as well as electrical busses, so I made a new revised aircraft.cfg to resolve these missing features. Also I did implement a better ground steering, extra lights, and smoke effects. VC is populated with all XML gauges. Auto Pilot in VC, Radar popup, and throttle panel for engines starting are available. All modifications have been tested in Prepar3D v4. This is the complete aircraft including sounds and effect files. Hope you like it as I do. See for more info and credits list the 'Docs' folder of the aircraft, especially the pdf file ALPHA_Vulcan_mod.pdf

70.03Mb (2273 downloads)
HMS Bounty for FSX - Version 1.1 Built Specifically for FSX - (separate package required for FS9) by Milton Shupe, Nigel Richards, Rob Barendregt, Sasha Rieger, and Rob Ibey. Helmsman by Craig "Full" Richardson HMS Bounty 18th Century Tall Ship square rigger completely wind driven, individually animated and controlled sails, animated flags with direction and wind speeds, animated helm, and Sail Management Window to control all ship fuctions. Ship responds to wind speeds and direction with yaw, keeling, and pitch depending on sails deployed and yard arm positions. Ambient sounds, variable wind and gale storm sounds, ship's bell, "Salute", anchor weigh/drop all add to immersion. WILL NOT WORK IN FS9 as it contains FSX native texture formatting and FSX specific sim interfaces. (Separate FS9 package available.) BIG NOTE: The latest version of FSUIPC is Required for the HMS Bounty to work. Note: Realism settings should be set to "Hard" for best Wind Effects (Will not work on "Easy" realism in FSX.) Version 1.1 upgrades: 1) Even more realistic wind effects on yaw and roll based on the confluence of sails deployed, wind speeds and direction relative to ship heading, yard arms angle to the wind, and ground speed. 2) Tugboat function added 3) Corrected lights positions 4) Documentation updates

220.22Mb (2272 downloads)
The first Douglas DC-3 planes that flew to Iberia had been military transports of the C-47A version. The first DC-3 that were used in Spain were three devices that were lost and landed by mistake in the Protectorate of Morocco. For two decades this plane would be the most important part of the air transport system in Spain, both civil and military. All the planes that arrived at the airlines were C-47 military, with the floor reinforced The internal configuration of the DC-3 was 21 seats, although the strong existing demand then forced the installation of folding seats, which increased the capacity to 25 seats, although sometimes it reached up to 28, which was the maximum capacity . The file contains two real models, with liveries used between 1953-1963 and 1963-1966. Based on the Manfred Jahn and team DC3/C47
