FSX Update for the pilotable battleship USS North Carolina BB-55 "Showboat" from Chris Herring/TopFlightSimulation. His FS-modell in payware quality is accuratly detailed, provides a complete virtual navigation bridge and has three animated 16inch triple main gun turrets. The textures are in WWII camo. In this colours the mighty ship is displayed today as museum ship in Wilmington/N.C. The FSX update provides FSX-compatible textures, a 2D-panel showing the prow, added views, with the option to swivel AA-guns and dozends of effects. Sixteen decks views and seven VC-views, allows you to explore the huge ship: Stare at the 16 inch guns, look to the AA guns and visit the catapults with the Kingfisher float planes. The effects provide common ship effects, many gun effects plus special effects. 2D-panel, texture conversion, added views and effect configuration by Erwin Welker. This is a second version of the ISFD for FIP. It was resized to let the left side empty to allow some text through the SaiFlightSimX.xml file to identify the buttons. The gauge provides indicated air speed, altitude, heading, aircraft attitude and QNH. When in range of an ILS the ILS bars appear. When the autopilot mode approach is selected the text APP in green colour appears.

This american warship, one of the american IOWA class battleships, had a very long carier from WW II until the end of the 20th century. What's new? You have a firecontrol gunsight, which can rotated for 360 degree or you can mann 3 of the 40 mm quatro aa-guns, which also can be rotated for 360 degree. There are 2 versions available. A)3 different photographical displays of that guns - or B) a paintstyled gun, which better matches the textures of the New Jersey. Textures made My my Partner from Digital Aircraft ( Will "Coyote" www.DigitalAir.Rocks.it) He was nice enough to make me a "Blank" w/ just the rivets & shadows so that I can put out a decent Wildcat Repaint, this process was Painted in Layers of "overlays" & the final layer was graduated in "Burn layers" Repaint by Robert "Hawk". 1.5MB

FSX-SP2 Louisville Scenery Version LouX.1R This is a patch file to Louisville sets (here), specifically designed for FSX SP2, but should also work for SP1. It fixes graphic anomalies, introduced with FSX-SP2, with bridges and other objects that contained invisible textures. It also includes five C130s at KSDF KNG and a moving Belle of Louisville with smoke, steam and wake effects. This version was specifically designed to work with the previously issued 4Meter/Pixel Photoreal Terrain scenery, LouXP01, LouXP02, LouXP03, and LouXP04 (here)and works well with the default mesh. Subsequently, 20 additional 1M/Pixel Photoreal sceneries designed for use with LouX.0R and LouX.1R have been released giving even better resolution. Their designations range from LouX1MAA to LouX1MZ.
