This is not new scenery. It is an AFCAD file for the default Bimini Island airport in the Bahama Islands. It is the closest Island flying east from Miami,FL. I've added an ILS system for both runway ends, 09 & 27. Plus, I've added a taxiway halfway along the runway for easier traffic flow. Also added runway lights with runway end strobes. FSX / P3Dv3 Gloster Meteor. This was the first British jet fighter and the first to enter service with the Allies of World War II. The development of the Meteor depended to a large extent on its innovative pulsorreactor engines, developed by Sir Frank Whittle and his company, Power Jets Ltd. The development of the airplane began in 1940, but had already begun to work on the engines in 1936. The Meteor It made its first flight in 1943 and began operating on July 27, 1944 with the 616th Royal Air Force (RAF) Squadron. Various variants of the Meteor were developed to incorporate technological advances during the 1940s and 1950s. Thousands of specimens were manufactured to serve in the RAF and other air forces, and the model remained in service for several decades. In the Second World War the Meteor entered into action in a limited way, while the Meteor of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) contributed significantly in the Korean War and other users such as Argentina, Egypt and Israel also used their Meteor in regional conflicts. In 2011, two Meteor, license plates WL419 and WA638, remained in active service at the Martin-Baker company as test benches for ejection seats.
