It is based in Johannesburg South Africa and is a British Airways franchisee and an affiliate member of the OneWorld airline alliance. Its base is Johannesburg Intl Airport and operates hubs at Cape Town Intl and Durban Intl. Comair aquired and put into service their first Boeing 737-200 in 1992. It currently operates 10 Boeing 737-200s flying the British Airways livery. This aircraft, a B737-236 wearing registration ZS-OLA, previously flew for British Airways as registration G-BKYE.
