Mark Walsh has produced a very nice series of modern CFS2 RN ships; some not even in the water yet in the RW, and very generously uploaded the FSDS source files for further development. Using Arnos fantasticly powerfull and easy to use freeware MDLX3.0, the conversions to FSX were just as easy as that, they look and run great. All the ships are hard deck, QE's ramp, deck and hangar are all hard decked. A while back, I became custodian of a departed mates project files; the Charlie files. One project was a RFA ROVER class AOR scenery file, evidently a UKMIL creation from the FS 2002 days. Quite nice despite its age; I converted and re-scaled to FSX standard,tweaked up the textures and finally got a hard deck in it, so off to down load for your naval aviating enjoyment. Original views reworked and additional views ( defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file ) for the default FSX Maule M7-260C Orion in both wheels and skis versions. 6 cameras pointing at the aircraft and 2 additional views ( minus 1 original view disabled ) inside the aircraft. FS2004-FSX Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchon The history of the Spanish built Me-109s and the Hispano Aviacion HA-112-MIL “Buchon”, began in 1936 when the aircraft came into use in the Spanish Civil War. In 1953 there appeared a RR Merlin engined variant. This version, designated HA-1109-M1L, was named Buchon. The HA1112-M1L saw most of its “combat” in the 1970 film, The Battle of Britain that recreated the fierce air battles of 30 years before. After the filming, many Buchon were restored by warbird enthousiast and repainted in the markings of WW2 BF109s. By A.F.Scrub

FS2004 RAF Sabre F1, Germany 1955 Textures only. The aircraft represented was assigned to 20 Sqd. at Oldenburg in (then) West Germany in the mid 50s. The unit operated both Sabre F1 and F4 models with a mix of both slatted and slick "hard (6-3)" wings. This particular aircraft, XB900, had the slatted wing. FS2004/FSX Curtiss P-36 Dutch: The Curtiss P-36 Hawk, was an American designed and built fighter aircraft of the 1930s and 40s. It was one of the first of a new generation of combat aircraft, a sleek monoplane design making extensive use of metal in its construction and powered by a powerful radial engine. Obsolete at the onset of World War II and best known as the predecessor of the Curtiss P-40. This is a Dutch version powered by the Cyclone engine. Corrected aircraft.cfg to avoid the model jumping on loading (also works with Finnish version). GMAX model by A.F.Scrub
