FS2004/FSX Dassault MD.450 Ouragan
The Dassault MD.450 "Ouragan" (meaning "Hurricane") became France's first
home-grown operational, jet-powered, military combat fighter, eventually being
produced in several hundred examples during her active tenure. While not a
wholly exceptional "fighter" when compared to her contemporaries, the type
served particularly well in the fighter-bomber role and saw extensive combat
actions with India, El Salvador and Israel. GMAX mdl by A.F.Scrub

FSX Vertical Speed Gauge with Audio Fixed
(Category: FS Gauges > FS Gauges)
0.19Mb (1908 downloads)
FSX Vertical Speed Gauge with audio callouts. A V-Speed gauge, that when installed into an aircraft panel will calculate the V1, V2 and V3 take of speeds for civilian aircraft, regardless of load or flap settings. The readout will be displayed in an easy to read format in the 2D cockpit, and also includes aural sounds for 80 knots, V1, Vrotate, and V2 speeds, at which point the VSI should show a positive rate of climb. Original gauge for FS2004 by Jacob Larsen (JEL), and modified for FSX by Anthony Eades. The first installation instructions for the V-Speed gauge "Fsx_jelair04vsp" were incomplete. This meant that the aural sounds were not activated. This download will correct that problem.

FS2004/FSX Curtiss R3C biplane racer
Curtiss-built biplanes that equipped fighter units of the Air corps and Navy during the 1920's and 30's were inspired by the air racing during the early 1930's. In 1925 the U.S. Army and Navy ordered from the Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company aircraft of basically the same design but with individual variations. The R3C variants ran away with first place in both trophy races in that same year. One of them also established a straightaway speed record for seaplanes of 245.7 mph. Source included. Kyushu J7W1 Shinden.
This fighter was a World War II Japanese propeller driven aircraft
that was built in a canard design. The wings were attached to
the tail section and stabilizers were on the front. The propeller
was also in the rear, in a pusher configuration. It was expected
to be a highly maneuverable interceptor, but only two were finished
before the end of war. The J7W was developed for the Japanese
Imperial Navy as a specific response to the B-29 Superfortress
raids on the Japanese homeland. by Kazunori Ito. 3.4MB
