The Dornier Do X was the largest, heaviest and most powerful flying boat in the world when it was produced by the Dornier company of Germany in 1929. The aircraft was conceived by Dr. Claudius Dornier and took seven years to design and another two years to build. I have updated the flight dynamics, added a vc light, fixed the original textures, some were invisible, and added a panel that I modified from a freeware panel background by Phil Perrott. The Argonaut and the North Star were Merlin-engined version of the Douglas DC-4. A total of 71 were produced by Canadair. In Canada it was called the North Star and was used by airlines and the RCAF. 22 Argonauts were delivered to BOAC 1949-1950, and they later had long careers with other operators like British Midland and charter companies.
