FS2004 Bell JetRanger - Silver Metallic Finish This is a repaint of the default Bell JetRanger III. This repaints the Bell JetRanger in a nice, plain silver metallic finish. The interior is nicely done in blue carpet, tan cloth seating and dark trim contrasts. The repaint also features more accurate Bell JetRanger details, including rivet lines on the fuselage, and tailshaft cover rivet and joint lines. CFS2 ONLY and FS2000 only! Mike Pupich purchased this aircraft from Paramont Studios after it was in the film "Catch 22". Later after beginning the resotoration work he met some original crewmembers of the 390th Squadron, 42nd Bomb Group "Crusaders", of the 13th Air Force who were originally stationed in the South Pacific theater during the War. Mike decided then and there to re-do the aircraft just like the original. The original aircraft was flown by Charlie Wells. He flew four missions with the original "Heavenly Body" as copilot and 38 missions as pilot. The stellar moment for this aircraft was when "Heavenly Body" roared off the deck of the USS Ranger on 21 April 1992 to honor the 50th anniversary of the Doolittle raid on Tokyo. Today she does airshows nationwide and it looks like there will be many years of pleasure from her to come. This original model was done by Roger Dial, Mike Hambly and Bruce Thorson. The A2D-1 was developed as a turboprop replacement for the iconic AD Skyraider series in the late 1940s. It was somewhat larger, faster and could carry a heavier weapons load. Unfortunately, the Allison T-40 series turboprop ran into many development delays mostly regarding reliability of the gear box which prevented the Sky Shark from being ordered into full production. It was the end of the line for prop driven attack aircraft for the US Navy. This is a major panel update for my previous FSX update to make the interior and panel look a lot more realistic. In addition to the three original textures by Paul Clawson there are two new "what-if" repaints based on textures by Juan Anotnio Martinez Castro, which he had designed for the FS2002 model by Kazunori Ito. The package also features exhaust smoke, better props and better reticule. Original native FSX model by Paul Clawson and 2D panel by Kazunori Ito. Two new repaints, new comletely reworked VC as well as new gauge configuration by Michael Pook. The model may work in FS2004 and P3D (v.3).

This is a collection of about 107 of Mike Stone's aircraft that I've collected & posted for posterity. Mike's planes were basic but very flyable & a lot of fun. 107 aircraft included - covering about all types from jetliners, military and props.
