Modified with the permission of FS KBT, their Electra has been modified by myself into the iconic airtanker that many fly as today. The great model by FS KBT largely remains unchanged. With the exception of the external tank and gauge modifications added for true engine auto smoke that will be uninterrupted by the use of the aircraft's smokesystem by either your own custom retardant/water effects or if you use this with FireFighterX. A retardant tank was also added in the payload section for payload management in FireFighterX. The L-188 Electra airtankers grace the skies mainly of the Great White North of Canada. Rarely seen in the United States, the Electras do make their way south into the States in the worst of fire seasons, 2020 is one of those years. The largest operator of fire bombing Electras is Air Spray. Two other operators of the Electra exist in Canada. Buffalo Airways operates several in tanker configuration. As does Conair, but with a single aircraft currently. 2 repaints are included in this initial release. T-481 from Air Spray in the L-188C(AT) variant, and T-60 from Conair in the L-188C(F) variant. The entire Air Spray Fleet repaint pack(s) as well as Buffalo Airways will follow this release. These include the HD 4K textures, hence the large file sizes. Aircraft was built and tested in P3Dv4.5, but is compatible with P3DV5 and FSX. But is untested in either. Aircraft originally by FS KBT, airtanker conversion by Nicholas Mitchell. This is the Douglas Skyshark made by Paul Clawson. The package features an entirely re-worked and enhanced VC with some more gauges added, a new 2D panel as well as new smoke effect. More targets for the naval strike community... The 1967 sinking of the INS Eilat(former RN Z class DD Zealous) by SSN-2 STYX armed KOMAR missile boats (P186 torpedo boats fitted with 2 SSN-2/P-15 Termit launchers) threw western navies into a panic, and spurred development of a whole range of tactical SSM's (Exocet, Harpoon, Ottomat ect) and fast attack craft. Of greater value was the development of ECM, decoy systems (RBOC/SRBOC) and various CWIS systems. The Israeli Navy showed that the Soviet KOMAR's and OSA's Styx system was far from overpowering at the Battle of Latakia on 7 Oct 1973, where, in the first naval battle fought between Missile boats; the INS showed that skillful use of ECM and decoys could decisively defeat the Soviet sytems, despite STYX having twice the range of the GABRIEL I SSM. Widely exported, the OSA I and OSA II boats and NANUCHKA missile corvettes proved something of a liability in actions in the Gulf of Sidra and Gulf wars, though the Indian Navy made good use of their OSA's in 1971 (Operation TRIDENT and PYTHON) This package contains FSX Native OSA I and II Missile boats, NANUCHKA I Missile Corvette, Zhuk Patrol boat, for AICarriers2, and a gyppo pilotable OSA I

FSX/FS2004 Fix for my previous upload (ERJ135ER_Private_N637HJ.zip) Embraer ERJ135ER (Posky) with VC Private N637HJ. My mistake, I forgot to edit the "aircraft.cfg". To fix the problem of the aircraft not showing up in your menu, simply delete your entire "aircraft.cfg" file and replace it with this one. Sorry for the inconvenience. Tom Tiedman
