X-Plane 11 Aeroworx Douglas C-47 Dakota Beta 2.5. The Douglas C47 is a twin-engined low wing transport aircraft, powered by Twin Wasp R1830-90C engines. Between 1935 and 1947 Douglas built a total of 10,654 of the type and over 80 years later there are still almost 1,000 in flying condition. This magnificent aircraft was originally designed by Manfred Jahn, Jan Visser and Team and is being flown by hundreds of happy users. At the end of July, Aeroworx obtained the permission to port this aircraft to X-Plane. As members of the South African Airways Museum Society, we have direct access to their C-47 and also a few other DC-3/C-47's. Getting good photographs is no problem, the crews flying and maintaining these aircraft are also extremely helpful in providing us with documentation, advice, etc. This aircraft features a fully 3D vintage virtual cockpit, with dozens of mouse click-able animations. The Sperry is the primary autopilot, but for the more "modern" guys, a G530 is available as a pop-up. This is a public beta version, PLEASE read the "Release Notes" attached to the download. The Consolidated B-32 Dominator was a heavy bomber made for the United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War and has the distinction of being the last Allied aircraft to be engaged in combat during WWII. This FSX update of the CFS2 /FS2002/FS2004 model features both an entirely reworked VC and matching 2D panel. Smoke effect has been added as well and the FDE has been updated to get better performance in FSX. Original model and airfile by William Dickens and Peperez,crew figures and engines by Dave Eckert and sound by Lawdog. Adaptation for FSX, new VC and 2D panel, smoke configuration and FDE improvement by Michael Pook.

This new FDE (Flight dynamics) includes an improved flight model plus a much improved PT6 simulation.

FS2004 Amsterdam Schiphol 1963 Package. We have tried to reflect something of the atmosphere and feel of that period, prior to the all jet era of today. This scenery is as detailed as possible because we found it essential to reproduce certain buildings and surroundings that were so typical for Schiphol Amsterdam. FS2002 T-tailed Piper Lance II. The real VH-MSX is owned by Joep Wessels and is hangared at Hamilton, Victoria, Australia. I am grateful to David Friswell for his partial design which I took to completion using FSDS. I am also grateful to Rien Cornelissen of the Netherlands who made the Arrow IV for his assistance on a few matters of fine tuning.
