FS2004 Takhli RTAFB Vietnam, Late 60's Scenery. An upgraded model of Takhli RTAFB as it appeared in the late 1960s at the height of the Vietnam War. During those years, Takhli was the home of the USAFs 355th Tactical Fighter Wing, which flew F-105 Thunderchiefs and RB/EB-66 Destroyers. A large number of KC-135 tankers were also stationed at Takhli. In December 1970 the 355th TFW was deactivated and the airbase was closed. However, Takhli was reopened in April 1972 and served as a major base of combat operations during the Linebacker I and II campaigns. This is the fourth in a series of upgraded Vietnam War era Thai airbase models. The assistance of ?Bangkok Bob? Vaughn and other Takhli veterans in constructing this model is sincerely appreciated. FS98/CFS Cessna 208 Grand Caravan. Represents Cessna 208 Grand Caravan in two chilean markings. CC-CTR Patagonia Airlines, flown by Nelson Bahamonde, and E-132 Ejercito de Chile - Chilean Army. The history of the CC-CTR of Patagonia Airlines, it is at the same time, a tragedy and heroism history. On June 7, 2008, this plane, piloted by Nelson Bahamonde, crashed in the Aysen region. Thanks to the know-how of the pilot, the plane achieved to land with relative smoothness, deadening the impact with the tree's branches cover with snow. The nine passengers saved unscathed but the pilot died days after due to a head-injuries and internal injuries. While was with life, organized to the passengers so that they could survive. Nelson Bahamondes died on June 9, and the rescue arrived on June 11, when the survivors only had grass and roots to eat, and snow to drink. This is the late Sunderland model MkIIIA (423 Sqn RCAF Sunderland at Castle Archdale, in late 1944), which was the upgraded version of the MkIII, with twin gun front turret, four fixed nose mouted machine guns and Mk3 centimetric radar. The Package is an FSX update of the original model for CFS3 by Ted Kaniuka, updated for FS2004 by Shessi of SOH. It features a new detailed VC with FSX compatible gauges and necessary adjustments for FSX. 2D panel design by Pete Mercy. Exhaust effect added. Thanks to Shessi for bringing it out for FS2004 so I was able to update it for FSX, bow gunner, tail gunner and top gunner views by Erwin Welker, new prop texture by Andre Ludick, VC adjustments, new gauge configuration and smoke by Michael Pook.

TDS FSX Allegiant Boeing 737-Max8 Package with enhanced VC FSX 737-Max8 model by TDS with advanced 737-800 VC added. The wonderful Boeing 737-Max8 from TDS will be enjoyed by many more people who do not know how to install a VC into a FSX native model. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. Use - Instrument panel - Util for ground vehicles, doors stairs, fuel truck, buses. New Utility allows Bus, fuel, doors and more. (Go to Views - Instrument panel - Utility) Model is not modified in any way. Just the VC added and aircraft.cfg edited to allow correct VC views. This is a straight conversion of the Sky Unlimited freeware aircraft to CFS2. The modifications to the MDL, CFG, DP, AIR files and textures are by myself. Both 2d and DVC panels have also been converted to CFS2 with gauges included. She has all the standard animations, plus the wingfold command (shift+F on CFS/FS keyboard) opens the engine cowl to show the detailed engine. The panel has sports assorted windows: Throttle (shift+2), ADF (shift+4) and GPS Africa (shift+5).
