2.68Mb (1629 downloads)
FS2002 Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base. An accurate model of Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base as it appeared in early 1969. Huge by Thai airbase standards, Udorn was the home of the USAF’s 432nd Tactical Reconnaissance/Fighter Wing (one of the outstanding combat units of the Vietnam War). Udorn was also the headquarters of the 56th Special Operations Wing (Air America). Secretly owned by the CIA, Air America conducted covert operations in Laos. The sprawling Air America complex occupied much of the southern part of Udorn. This is the second in a series of Vietnam War era Thai airbase models. George Knowles. 2.5MB

The Consolidated C-87 Liberator Express was a transport derivative of the B-24 Liberator heavy bomber built during World War II for the United States Army Air Forces. A total of 287 C-87s were built alongside the B-24 at the Consolidated Aircraft plant in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an FSX update for the FS2002/2004 Alphasim model and now features a new enhanced virtual cockpit with all new gauges compatible for FSX. In addition, the textures had to be partly modified to be recognized by FSX, some parts of them were not visible. The 2D panel features animated yoke and throttle panel. Smoke effect has been added as well. The package includes five liveries by different authors. Thanks to Phil Perrott for the original model, to Jim Nelson and Jaap de Baare for their previous FS2004 updates and additional Brit Liveries as well as to Glenn Duncan for the Corsair texture, which had to be modified to conform to this vc model. CFS3 Vehicles as facilities by Wulfmann These are the majority of the stock MS vehicles as facilities files. They can be added to missions faster and positioned more easily. Since they are actually means to access the original file they do not reduce frame rate compared to moving vehicles. So, don't go crazy or your FPS might go to 3. They are, of course, stationary objects Open zip and drop into CFS3 Facility folder. That's it. These will be required for future Ruff-Missions. 16K

Instfiles: Here's a little program that can help install files, whether to CFS1, CFS2 or anywhere on a drive. Create a control file that tells it what to do and where. Put all the files to install, the control file and this program into a single directory and run it. The program will put all the files into the indicated directories, whether planes, missions, campaigns, scenery or some other file type. It can install, rename or delete files depending on what the control file tells it to do. Have CFS(1 or 2) in some other directory, no problem as you can pick the directory to start in. You can even install non CFS files. PCH Paul Hauschildt. 134K

FS2004 Default Boeing 747-400 Soar Airlines Vemeers Livery. have veered in to the air cargo business and, to mark the event, they are celebrating the Dutch 17th century painter Johan Vemeers. Totally ficticious, of course, but I thought it rather nice to mix two classics -- the Boeing 747 with 17th century Johan Vemeers. by Francis F Silva. 2.2MB
