CFS2 AF=Midway Amphibious Warfare Pak I This package contains updated versions of all of my older Amphibs and four brand new ones. You can toss out the old ones, these are complete ships with all new multi-res GMax models and the number of textures has been reduced. The new ships are the LST Mk. II, LCM-3/6 and 2 LCI-G’s. Up-dated ships are the LCVP, LCT Mk. 5 & 6, LCI-L 1 and 351 Class. Nine ships in all. Also included in this package is something totally new to CFS2, the glider gun. An aircraft that looks like a small gun that will engage ground objects (ships, vehicle, etc.) by gliding to a static ground position and then firing on enemy infrastructure. FS2004 Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base - An upgraded model as it appeared in mid-1968. This upgraded scenery is much more accurate and elaborate than the Ubon RTAFB scenery I uploaded about three years ago. Ubon RTAFB was the home of the famous 8th Tactical Fighter Wing “Wolfpack” during the Vietnam War (1965-1974). The 8th TFW flew F-4 Phantom IIs. The “Wolfpack” shot down 38 North Vietnamese MiG aircraft - more than any other fighter unit of that war. This is the late Sunderland model MkIIIA (423 Sqn RCAF Sunderland at Castle Archdale, in late 1944), which was the upgraded version of the MkIII, with twin gun front turret, four fixed nose mouted machine guns and Mk3 centimetric radar. The Package is an FSX update of the original model for CFS3 by Ted Kaniuka, updated for FS2004 by Shessi of SOH. It features a new detailed VC with FSX compatible gauges and necessary adjustments for FSX. 2D panel design by Pete Mercy. Exhaust effect added. Thanks to Shessi for bringing it out for FS2004 so I was able to update it for FSX, bow gunner, tail gunner and top gunner views by Erwin Welker, new prop texture by Andre Ludick, VC adjustments, new gauge configuration and smoke by Michael Pook.
