The Arado Ar 240 was a German twin-engine, multi-role heavy fighter aircraft, developed for the Luftwaffe during World War II by Arado Flugzeugwerke. Its first flight was in 1940, but problems with the design hampered development, and it remained only marginally stable throughout the prototype phase. The project was eventually cancelled, with the existing airframes used for a variety of test purposes. This compilation of three variants of the Ar 240 is an FSX/P3D (version3 not 4) update of the FS2004 models by Chris Lampard, Morton and Shessy of SOH (reconnaisance, fighter bomber and nightfighter). It features FSX compatible all German gauges, a modified 2D panel and a new VC design. Smoke effect and new camera views added. New 2D panel configuration and camera views by Erwin Welker, VC design and configuration as well as smoke effect by Michael Pook. CFS2 deHavilland Sea Vixen. ALPHA Simulations 2002 De Havilland Sea Vixen FAW.2 Intended originally as a night fighter for the RAF and the Navy, the DH.110 prototype first flew in 1951. The Vampire-like shape belied a very advanced aircraft. Political disagreements meant however that this two-seater supersonic fighter\/bomber never realised its full potential as a world-beater. As the Sea Vixen, it served in the Fleet Air Arm until 1971. 146 were built, the FAW.2 being a considerable improvement over its predecessor. CFS2/FS2000 North American AJ-1 Savage. FSDS2 Model, air file, Aircaft.config, Panel, Textures. and Object_dp, by Jim Jacobson: Released as freeware-January 2004. The AJ1 Savage was a stop gap bomber used as a naval nuclear naval deterant between WWII and the arival of full jet bombers. It was part prop and part jet with twin radials on the wings and a allison turbo in tail. It never saw combat but was on ready alert and carried the MK15-Mk39 series of gravity nuclear bombs from the decks of US Carriers. After the arrival of Full Jet bombers the AJ Savage series was refitted for naval Tanker duty. The AJ Savage was decomishioned and saw its last action as civilian Fire bombers.
