Welcome to Norfolk Island International Airport.
Norfolk Island is a beautiful and popular holiday destination in the Pacific Ocean, between New Zealand and Australia. Norfolk Air has scheduled flights to and from both Australia and New Zealand to the Island, and the airport is also used as a stepping stone for International GA flights. The scenery contains some custom items (textures included), and also the landclass fix for Microsoft's erroneous "water island" in FS9. Requires some EZ Scenery Object Sets (see INSTALL instructions for details).

P-47D Dottie Mae Fix

Install fixes: 2/Lt. Henry G.Mohr jr. 405th FG 511th FS was on a "presence patrol" with another P-47D pilot one day before VE-Day to brighten the prisoners in a nearby POW camp by buzzing by to let them know that Allied troops were at the outskirts. On the return, 2/Lt. Mohr flew too low and clipped the lake with his propeller causing him to dump the plane. He was captured and put in the same POW camp but, was freed by the Allied Troops a few days later. His plane was recovered from the Austrian Lake in 2005 and is being restored at the Chino CA Planes of Fame Museum. 2/Lt. Henry Mohr is said to be still alive and may well be reunited once more with his plane. FSX / P3Dv3 Update and repack of Focke Wulf FW-44. This German two-seater biplane from the 1930s known as Stieglitz ("Goldfinch") was produced by the company Focke-Wulf as a pilot training aircraft and sports flight. It was also eventually built under license in several other countries. Model by AF Scrub. Multiple textures are added, a total of 23 between, Luftwaffe, Finland, China, Brazil, Argentina, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Turkey. Personally update VC gauges, sound, propeller, and other details. All the merits and thanks for the creator of this magnificent model and for all those who made these excellent textures. Enjoy....

As a result of the termination of the Tornado project, the Tempest II was designed from the outset to use the Bristol Centaurus 18 cylinder radial engine . Apart from the Centaurus engine , the Tempest II prototypes were similar to early series Tempest Vs.Tempest IIs produced during the war were intended for combat against Japan, and would have formed part of a proposed British Commonwealth long-range bomber force based on Okinawa, Tiger Force. The Pacific War ended before they could be deployed. Model by A.F.Scrub
