The First Shorts Built Tucanos were delivered on 1 Sept 1988 - The first Shorts Tucano was handed over to the Central Flying School at RAF Scampton. 130 of the type were ordered for the RAF. This repaint depicts the VF-21 Freelancers CAG ("00") bird, circa 1994. The squadron was home in Japan preparing for their last deployment aboard USS Independence. FSX/Acceleration Package Destroyer Charles F. Adams Class. This ships were a guided missile destroyer class of 23 ships for the US Navy, 3 for the Royal Australian Navy and 3 for the West German Bundesmarine; built between 1958 and 1967. The ships were powered with 2 steam turbines a 26.000 kW and armed with 2x127 mm guns, a launcher for 8 ASROC missiles and a single or double launcher for Tartar or Harpoon missiles. Only Charles F. Adams and Moelders survived as museum ships, but all of the others have been sunk as targets, sunk for diving wrecks or sold for scrap. The package contains pilotable- and ai-versions of Charles F. Adams and Moelders in the style of the 70th. The FSX version has twenty two camera views whilst the FS9 version has sixteen panel look around views. Both versions has many animations with animated guns, radars, ASROC and Tartar launchers with missile launches. The weapon control switchboard and most of the gauges are made by Pierre Carosin, the FSDS 3.5 models with the photoreal 2D navigation bridge are made by Erwin Welker.

Wind-Information gauges for FS2004 aircraft. These gauge was written after a VFR ferryflight from Key West (Florida) to St. Johann (Austria). Often I missed wind-informations for higher or lower altitudes. Sometimes I have noticed, that if I will fly at an other altitude I will have tail wind instead of head wind. But this informations i could only got flying to this altitude and test it. By Andreas Widmann. 42K

HELIOS AUTOGYRO for FS2000 Helios Autogyro, a new engineering concept currently under development by Spark Design Engineering, Netherlands. The HELIOS is a two-seater tricycle-type gyrocopter that can be used for comfortable commuter or cross-country travel. It has a steerable nosewheel and brakes on both rear wheels. The craft can also be used as an ordinary ground vehicle. It has a maximum range of 300 nautical miles, a cruise speed of approx. 80 knots and a ceiling of 12,500 feet. Moving parts include: two ducted fans at the rear, plus an auxillary rotor engine placed above the canopy reach as well as a steerable nose wheel, rudders and elevators. This FS2000 model, designed in FSDS, is well-suited to learning the basics of flying relatively simple rotorcraft, before going on to more advanced rotor aircraft. All maneouvres specific to rotorcraft can be performed, including steady and controlled hovering and precise manoeuvring in tight spaces. File includes panel and sounds.
