China Southern,based in Guangzhou in the Guangdong province of the PRC, is the largest airline in China in terms of fleet size and passengers carried. In fact, it is considered one of the top 10 passenger carrying airlines in the world. It operates extensive domestic, regional and international routes and operates its hub at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport(ZGGG). China Southern operates a fleet of 6 Embraer ERJ-145LIs. This is the first one delivered to China Southern. It was purchased new from Embraer and delivered in June of 2004.
