FSX/Accel/FS2004/P3d Soviet Cruiser Slava. Three of ten planned ships of the soviet Slava class were built between 1976-79. With a length of 186 m it carrierd 16 containers for SS-N-12 missiles, 64 vertical launchers for SA-N6 missiles and two twin launchers for SN-4 missiles, a 130 mm twin gun, six 30mm guns plus a Kamov Ka-27 helicopter for anti submarine warfare. The cruiser reaches with a power of 130.000 sHp a speed of 32 knots. After modifications Slava was renamed to Moskva and she and her 2 sisters are still serving the russian navy. The sim model has a lot of animations (controlled by a switchboard) inluding missile launches of all three types and a Kamov Ka-27 helicopter which is deployed out of the hanger doing take offs and landings. FSX Buecker BU-133 Jungmeister in the paint scheme of Elisabeth Bach. The Jungmeister with its radial engine was a more powerful aerobatic biplane than the BU-131 Jungmann. Liesel Bach, the best German female aerobatic pilot between 1930 and 1970 flew that Buecker BU-133 1937 in Zurich. The original FS2004 model is from Capt. I. D'Attomo and Capt. G.Quai. This addon provides a model converted to FSX with an highly improved and enlarged VC. Panel by Michael Pook. FSX converted and repaint by Erwin Welker

Northrop BT-1 Dive Bomber

The Northrop BT-1 first flew in 1936 and was assigned to both the USS Yorktown and USS Enterprise. It was not very successful but led to the development of the SBD "Dauntless" which was successful. This is a FSX Acceleration native model. It has the usual animations including cowl flaps, sliding canopies, and dive brakes. The VC has animated flight controls and working gauges. The gauges feature dark red back lighting which was common for night vision at that time. There is no 2D panel. This model is painted for the Executive Officer of Squadron VB-6 assigned to the USS Enterprise. By Paul Clawson
