FS2004 Leeward Field, Guantanamo Bay Scenery. Infamously known as 'the only piece of free land in Cuba', Naval Station Guantanamo Bay is home to over 520 detainees and 9,500 US Armed Forces who are protected by the largest mine field in the Western hemisphere. Utilizing Airport for Windows and Rwy12, I have improved the default scenery for Leeward Field, the airport that serves the base. I have also included some flight plans to bring the airfield to life. FS2002 Douglas DC-2 American Airlines (AAL) with Surround Photo Panel From the brilliant original of Jan Visser comes this mild repaint of his DC-2 in American Airlines livery. It is the companion aircraft to Ernest K. Gann's AM 21 flight plan (am21ekg.zip). Contains total surround panel package, including wing views by Robert and Daniel Fall; Ben Wang's AAL 1930s cabin converted to DC-2 by James Underwood (with 30s celebs), pilot's side views and a vintage panel photographed by Joseph Rhensius, Propfreak Productions. Also has authentic Douglas yoke by Mike of AirNikon. Uses Sperry Mark III by Arne Bartels, but also has pop-up default radios and GPS for the lazy. Panel uses ADF only, in keeping with the period, and features gauges by James Undrwood, Ernie Kennedy and Kevin Trinkle. Flies beautifully, with great FPS. Not for commercial sale. FS2002 Gloster Meteor F Mk 8 VZ494 of the Royal Air Force. This arcive contains an FSDS v2.10 update of Roger Hardy's original Gloster Meteor F Mk 8. The original aircraft is available at www.freeflightdesign.com. This version adds the new FSDS features such as aniamted undercarraige suspension and reflective textures. There is minimal changes to the original model apart from the addtion of 3-D gear bays. Please consult the original documentation for more info on the original (included). FS2002 Pro Beech 18 Volpar This FSDSv2 project was inspired by my flights as a pilot in a beech 18 volpar when I was based in Hawaii. The Volpar/Beech 18 a truley unigue classic aircraft which has a nosewheel undercarrige (trycycle gear) where the main wheels retract completely, and also features a lengthened nose. It also had a revised leading edge for the wing which sweeps back at a greater angle to smaller wing tips. It features full moving parts including rolling wheels, landing gear, etc. The realistic panel is designed by myself and is based on a beautiful classic photo, with side and rear views.
