Updated F-101B Voodoo for FSX and P3D
(Category: FSX > Military)
85.39Mb (1280 downloads)
This is an update of Henk Schuitemaker's awesome revision of the Alphasim freeware McDonnell F-101B Voodoo for FSX, to include some more paints and with reflective and specular shine. It is a complete package and includes two models; CFB2 is the initial production model as first delivered to both the USAF and those delivered new to the Royal Canadian Air Force, starting in 1959. CFBR is the later production model (blocks 115 and 120) with infra-red sensor ahead of the cockpit. Starting in 1961, the majority of aircraft were brought up to the later standard so this represents the final appearance of the Voodoo in US and Canadian service.

FSX/P3D (V.3) Douglas Dolphin
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
32.41Mb (1280 downloads)
This is an FSX update for the FS2004 Douglas Dolphin package by David Wooster and his team. FSX simmers who have downloaded the FS2004 version have been confronted with a
sinking plane on water, so here is a correction for that issue. The package features the original 18 liveries and an
additional one (USAF-WWII) by Andre Ludick. The VC has been
completely reworked to make it look more realistic. Additionally, the cabin interior has been drastically enhanced and smoke effect as well as new camera views for the copilot and the passenger cabin have been added. The bulk of the credit goes to David Wooster and his team for designing the
original model and textures, also, credit goes to Andre Ludick for his USAF repaint and, above all, for correcting the contact points to make the plane flyable in FSX. New VC and gauge configuration as well as smoke effect by Michael Pook. The model may also work in P3D (Up to V3. Not V4+).

P-36 Hawks at Pearl Harbor Mission
Your home base at Wheeler Army Airfield has just been attacked by
the first wave of Japanese bombers and fighters. Only four P-36
Hawk fighters of the 1st and 46th Pursuit Squadrons have survived
the destruction. You, 2nd Lt. Phillip Rasmussen, will take off and
intercept A6M Zero fighters, enroute to strafe Marine Corps Air
Station Kanehoe and Bellows Army Airfield. P-40B's will attempt
to do the same at Bellows. Fend off the invaders and live to fight
another day! Enclosed are two P-36A Hawk and one P-40B Tomahawk
fighters (in historically accurate markings) and Pearl Harbor scenery.
