FSX St Louis PhotoReal Scenery Section U
FSX St Louis PhotoReal Scenery Section U (Category: FSX > Scenery)
74.34Mb (1169 downloads)
FSX St Louis PhotoReal Scenery. This is high resolution, 1 meter/pixel, terrain scenery for St Louis, Missouri (MO). Section, U, is one of 30. A map and descriptions show the section locations and some feature details. This photoscenery is for DAY USE ONLY and will work for any season, but shows only the USGS aerial photo data taken in March 2002. The default FSX mesh works well with this photoscenery and no additional mesh for the area needs to be purchased. The 30 sections of scenery, totalling 2 Gb, contains photoreal terrain textures, encompassing an area bounded by 31.7 E-W and 27.4 N-S miles (about 870 square miles). Each section is independent, but the user may want most or all sections to provide continuity and completeness. By Jim Jones.

FSX/P3D Native Douglas A3D Skywarrior Revisitted
97.40Mb (1168 downloads)
Update and enhancement of ALPHA's Skywarrior as published by LLS. Main fix consist of adding the [Radios] section in the aircraft.cfg file in order to make the avionics working. I have replaced nearly all original gauges by modified ALPHA_B-66 gauges. This gives a much nicer and clearer look in VC. Removed most of the brown rust colors of the gauges. More enhancements consists of kind of restoring the original radar in VC, adding (better) tooltips for gauges in VC, adding NAV-GPS and Tailhook switches in VC. Other enhancements: Master Direction Indicator is made expandable with mouse, automatic engines heat glow effect, tailhook switch in VC, preventing of wheel locks during braking at outside views, and some more. Changed fuel capacity so that range is about the real range of the real Skywarrior. Also Included are a reference kneeboard file and other documentation. This is a complete aircraft package. Enhancements were made for P3Dv4+ but should also work in FSX. Installation instructions provided in the Install.txt giving options for Addon or classic installation. A full credits list can be found in both Flanker256.txt and A-3A_Skywarrior_mod.pdf. Rest me to say: happy flights with this largest carrier based bomber.

Drzewiecki Design Grass is a freeware, fully automated package of ultra high quality, 4096x4096 pix grass and snow textures for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, FSX:SE and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D (all currently available versions). It will enhance ground textures in the whole FS. Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D have texture resolution limit, which is 1024x1024 pixels. It is possible to select higher resolution by manually editing configuration files but Drzewiecki Design Grass will do that for you automatically! Default FS9's grass is 128x128pix and with Drzewiecki Design Grass you can admire the 1024x1024 ground texture resolution. Extra features: Drzewiecki Design Grass will automatically add a HIGHMEMFIX=1 tweak to your FS, which will prevent texture disappearing from aircraft and buildings + snow texture for winter flying. Enjoy your virtual flying with Drzewiecki Design!

FSX Bomb, Atomic, Mk-4, Mod0 (Category: FSX > Misc)
0.15Mb (1168 downloads)
A drop-able object for FSX, modeled specifically for the new Virtavia AJ-2 Savage. The Mk-4 was the first production nuclear weapon, arming the P2V-3, AJ, B-29, B-45, B-50, and other bombers during the post-war period. Utilizing the 64 point implosion geometry and physics package of the Y-1563 Mk-3 Fatman, the Mk-4 used ruggedized electronics, improved radar fuses, and a mechanical IFIE arm and safeing system. The bomb case was significantly improved over the miserable ballistic qualities of the Mk-1 and -2 bombs, improving accuracy. default conventional effect, Airforce and Navy versions. Use only as directed, aim away from face, Try not to blow up the world.

Marsh Harbour, Andros (MYAM) - The Bahamas
2.55Mb (1168 downloads)
Marsh Harbour, Andros (MYAM) - The Bahamas Marsh Harbour is the third busiest airport in the Bahamas, and now has a new runway, a new terminal, and the addition of a control tower and fire station. Completion of scenery for Marsh Harbour has been delayed since beginning work on the Bahamas' airports due to construction and a long delay in opening the new facilities, which occurred on May 27, 2014. There are currently no plans for opening the control tower, and it is not operational in this scenery. The scenery includes custom scenery objects, placement of library objects and landclass changes. Scenery is based on Google Earth and photos taken locally, and it is optimized for use with UTX-TAC. Some scenery details have changed from what is shown in screenshots included with the installation package. By: Art Poole

CFS1 Tu-4 Bull (Category: CFS1 > Aircraft)
2.20Mb (1168 downloads)
CFS1 Tu-4 Bull. The first long-range Russian bomber was the Tu-4. Does it look familiar? It should because the Tu-4 is a "bolt for bolt" copy of the famous Boeing B-29. The Russians reverse-engineered captured B-29s that were forced to make emergency landings in Russian occupied areas. While the crews were allowed to "escape", the B-29s remained behind. Two years later the Tu-4 entered service. Based on Oscar Everitt's B-29 Genie. New Textures and small changes to .Air File by Will Latham. Everything else by Oscar Everitt. 2.2MB
