Alfs_UK_airfields-Volume 21 In FSX scenery there are still many small airfields in the UK with little or no details. I have tried to improve this in a small way. I do not not aim to make them accurate, only better. They were compiled using aerial views from Google Earth, Pooleys UK Flight Guide, and the FSX SDK Object Placement Tool and Airport Design Editor v1.47. FS2004 X04U-1 Corsair Floatplane Package: Only one X04U-1 was built for the NAVY and first flew in 1931. It was Vought's first airplane with a monocoque fuselage and fabric covered metal wing structure. It could be mounted on wheels or floats. It crashed during flight test prior to Navy acceptance. Its intended purpose was as a scouting and observation aircraft. It never made it into production but the seaplane version was planed so this is a speculative texture set for this aircraft. FS2004 Piaggio P-149D Italian Air Force Textures only. The Piaggio P-149 is a trainer-laison aircraft. It first flew in June 19th, 1953. I'ts a development of the P-148 model, with increased seat capacity, tricycle retractable landing gear and a more powerful engine, featuring a three-bladed constant speed propeller. It was mainly used by German Luftwaffe (P-149D) as a training aircraft. Only a P-149 (first prototype, MM559) belonged to Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana) and was used, during '60, by Italian Ambassade in West Germany.
