Built as a B-25J for the USAAF as 44-30925, MSN108-34200 was converted to a TB-25N at some stage in its service, before being stored at Davis-Monthan in August 1958. Sold in 1960 as N9494Z, she went through a variety of owners before appearing in “Catch 22” as “Laden Maiden”. After filming, Colonel John Stokes bought the aircraft in 1975 and restored the colour scheme as she appeared in the film. Colonel Stokes very kindly sent me several photographs of N9494Z when she wore the scheme that I have used on this model. The late John Jeff Hawke bought her in 1978 to continue her film career appearing in the documentary “Mitchells do fly in IMC”, then in “Hanover Street” as “Gorgeous George-Ann”, and finally as “Thar She Blows” in “Eye of the Needle” in 1980. Her film career over, she was stored at Blackbushe becoming derelict, until 1982 when she was dismantled and trucked to Wellesbourne Mountford in 1982 and then to Coventry in 1985, still owned by John Jeff Hawke/ Visionair International. In 1985 Aces High bought the aircraft registering her as G-BWGR and moving the hulk to North Weald. She was then sold to David Copley in 1998, moving to Sandtoft in 2001. The Brussels Air Museum Foundation bought her in 2005 and she is currently being restored to static condition. I have used the brilliant Brian Withers/Roy Chaffin/Bluebear B-26J RAF MkII and modified the TruNorthSim USA/Africa texture adding the nose art, national markings and tail markings as used by Colonel John Stokes in San Marcos, TX. There is also engine exhaust flames and smoke and, when the main exit is open, the crew leave. The only snag is that Laden Maiden never carried the cheek guns as on the model and I can't remove them.

The Sikorsky S 56 was a heavy combat transport Helicopter for the USMC, ordered in 1951. First flight on 18/12/53, with deliveries to HMX-1 by 1956. 60 machines delivered to the Marines, with a further 94 began entering US Army service in 1956. Last of the heavy piston Helio's, the twin R2800 powered Deuce was the largest and fastest Western Helicopter of it's era. This is a MDLX update of the HR2S-1-CH-37A/B for FSX-P3D. This aircraft modification as with the other "ScorchMod" airtanker conversions comes from a long line of development from the original aircraft. This modification is based around the freeware released SGA DC-9. Although not an MD-87, the models differ only slightly and I felt it was a great platform to do this modification to. The original was made FSX Native by Eagle Rotorcraft. The tank fairing was designed and attached in our group at Simulated Air Tanker Operations. The pack also includes sounds I've modified from Benoit Plamondon's original freeware JT8D soundset for the DC-9/MD-87 to mesh better with FSX and P3D. I have also updated external lighting on the model to reflect the MD-87s better. Model is still FSX native, but was constructed and tested in P3Dv4.5. This likely means it is also compatible in V5 of P3D as well. FSX users will have custom thumbnails. I have also included weight references for use in FireFigherX. This jet can be a challenge to fly fully loaded out of airfields with runways shorter than 5200 feet without the weight and payloads properly configured. this is a repaint for the Aerosoft Falcon X F-16 payware. this F-16 was used at Nellis AFB , with a 3 tones wrap around camo named "European-1" or "Lizard" similar to the A-10/MH-60G used by the USAF. it was designed around the Falcon Eye system, now replaced by several designation and acquisition pods used by the F-16s. you need the payware Aerosoft F-16 to use this repaint
