FSX and FS2004 Douglas C-74 Globemaster I The C-74 was planned during World War 2 as a much bigger successor to the C-54 Skymaster. An airliner version was also planned, and PanAm actually ordered it as the 'DC-7'. After the war it became obvious that a better design could be made, so only 14 C-74 Globemasters were built. The airliner version was cancelled, and the military version was developed into the C-124 Globemaster II with a much larger fuselage. Nevertheless, the C-74s gave good service until retired in the mid 'fifties, a few of them continued in use as commercial cargo transports. By Jens B. Kristensen.

This is an update of the FS 9 Firefox 2 by Owen Smoot, painted by Kurt Beswick. I have added the other wheel, fixed the scrape points, changed the afterburner and smoke effects, added two gauges to the panel, changed and or resized a few gauges, changed the view angle, and updated the flight dynamics. This update may work in FS X, but most of the gauges in the panel won't. If I can, I will update the aircraft for FS X, soon. Bob Chicilo.

The Paint Scheme is the Royal Air Force's Demonstration Team The Red Arrows.. The Red Arrows were officially formed at RAF Fairford on 1 March 1965, led by Flight Lieutenant Lee Jones, flying seven Folland Gnat aircraft. In 1966 the number of aircraft was increased to nine, and since then the classic 'Diamond Nine' formation has become the team's trademark. FS2004 (Also works in FSX) PBY Catalina 5 and 5A Package featuring multiple models and textures. Black Cat, USN, USAF, RAF, California Water Bomber, Alphasim. Consolidated Aircraft's PBY Catalina is a superb example of the flying patrol boat. The first prototype was flown in March, 1935, with deliveries of the PBY-1 commencing in October, 1936. This model was quickly upgraded to the PBY-2, with more upgrades bringing about the -3 and -4 designations, with power increased to 1,200 HP in the later variants. Ex payware from Virtavia/Alphasim.
