FSX and FS2004 Douglas C-74 Globemaster I The C-74 was planned during World War 2 as a much bigger successor to the C-54 Skymaster. An airliner version was also planned, and PanAm actually ordered it as the 'DC-7'. After the war it became obvious that a better design could be made, so only 14 C-74 Globemasters were built. The airliner version was cancelled, and the military version was developed into the C-124 Globemaster II with a much larger fuselage. Nevertheless, the C-74s gave good service until retired in the mid 'fifties, a few of them continued in use as commercial cargo transports. By Jens B. Kristensen.

The Paint Scheme is the Royal Air Force's Demonstration Team The Red Arrows.. The Red Arrows were officially formed at RAF Fairford on 1 March 1965, led by Flight Lieutenant Lee Jones, flying seven Folland Gnat aircraft. In 1966 the number of aircraft was increased to nine, and since then the classic 'Diamond Nine' formation has become the team's trademark. This sound is intended for use on Project Opensky's models, but they'll work pretty good I am sure on other freeware and payware planes. After month's of hard precision work, I present to you my new realistic and accurate 737NG CFM56-7B soundpack for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and X. The interior sounds are mainly from a passenger perspective. Once you load your aircraft with these sounds, you'll hear the APU System and Fans in the cabin. You hear the humming sound of the CFM56-7B at idle after you have started the engines. You spool up the engines at takeoff then hear the buzzsaw-like sound of the CFM56-7B engine's fans. Once you lift off and put up the landing gear you will hear a chime from the cabin. It features realistic cockpit sounds like the autopilot deactivation sound, stall clicker, overspeed clicker, gear up warning sound buzzer, flaps lever, rolling whine, and touch-down. I am sure that if you are a frequent Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft flyer, or if you're a pilot or flight crew onboard a 737NG aircraft, that you'll pretty impressed by these sounds. Give this soundpack a try, I am sure you won't be disappointed!

This is an update of the FS 9 Firefox 2 by Owen Smoot, painted by Kurt Beswick. I have added the other wheel, fixed the scrape points, changed the afterburner and smoke effects, added two gauges to the panel, changed and or resized a few gauges, changed the view angle, and updated the flight dynamics. This update may work in FS X, but most of the gauges in the panel won't. If I can, I will update the aircraft for FS X, soon. Bob Chicilo.
