FSX Modified Terrain Textures Config File. . Flight Simulator X terrain is defined in the terrain.cfg file. During testing, we have determined a certain number of modifications to this file that will correct some problems with the FS world and also provide more options for scenery designers. For example, in some places, water bodies display rocky areas - this file fixes that. Note: It does not smooth out the terrain - just colors it so it isn't so obviously flawed. Approach to Lukla V2 (Totally New Mission) You are a very experienced pilot flying the Twin Otter for Yeti Airlines on an imaginary flight to and from Lukla. Take-off from Biratnagar airport VNVT climb to at least 13500 ft to WP1 Turn to Lukla. From WP1 carefully descent to 10000 ft (there should be cloud to make it more difficult, if you have some sort of weather add-on running) to WP2 Approach to VNLK, after passing through the gate turn sharp right and land at Lukla airport, remember that the runway has an incline of several degrees. Turn around and take-off again, stay on the runway and rotate just before the end of the runway. Follow the valley back to the south until you are able to track the VOR 112.30 at roughly 276 degrees, till you reach Kathmandu Intl Airport and land. Yes, it sounds easy, but .. find out for yourself.

In the late 1970s Dornier GmbH developed a new kind of wing, the TNT ("Tragflügel neuer Technologie"), subsidized by the German Government. Dornier tested it on a modified Do 28D-2Skyservant and with Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-110 Turboprop engines. Finally Dornier changed the engine and tested the new aircraft, which was named Do 128 with two Garrett AiResearch TPE-331-5 engines. The company developed a new fuselage for the TNT and TPE 331-5 in two variants (15 and 19 Passenger) and named both project-aircraft E-1 (later Do 228-100) and E-2 (later Do 228-200). At ILA '80 Dornier presented the new aircraft in public. Both the prototypes were flown on March 21, 1981 and May 9, 1981 for the first time. After certification the first Do 228 entered service in the fleet of Norving Flyservice in February 1982. Over the years Dornier offered the 228 in upgraded variants and with special equipment for special missions. A repaint of Airbus A330-200 (RR) model by Project Open Sky in the current livery of Air Blue, Pakistan's leading private airline, which has planned to induct Airbus A330-200 aircraft in its fleet as it aims at extension of its international routes. This is a repaint of Kazunori Ito's F-100D Super Sabre modified for Flight Simulator X .This Paint scheme is the United States Air Force Vietnam era jungle camo. The F-100Ds arrived in Southeast Asia in 1962 but did not begin flying combat missions over Vietnam until 1965. The aircraft was used for ground attack within South Vietnam. The two-seat F-100F operated as a "fast-FAC" (forward air controller) spotting targets for other aircraft. It was also the first Wild Weasel SEAD aircraft whose specially trained crews were tasked with locating and destroying enemy air defenses. Textures and Modifications by Mark Rooks of RSDG Aircraft.

FS2004 Piper Navajo Chieftain The Navajo Chieftain first appeared in 1973. Originally dubbed the Navajo II, the Navajo Chieftain was intended to compete against the Cessna 402 and to a lesser extent the turboprop powered Beech 99. Changes over the basic Navajo were many, including a 61cm (2ft) fuselage stretch, larger doors (an extra crew door was optional), and more powerful engines. From the 1980 model year the PA-31-350 became known simply as the Chieftain, and the type remained in production until October 1984.
