FSX/FS2004 Avia S-199m Israel. The Avia S-199 is notable as the first fighter obtained by the Israeli Air Force, and used during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The type proved unreliable and performed poorly in combat. The type scored victories over its opponents, including the Spitfire. The Avias were mostly withheld from service by the end of October, at which time only six remained operational. The S-199 continued making sporadic sorties until mid-December. GMAX mdl by A.F.Scrub.

FSX/FS2004/Acceleration/P3dV3 Blohm & Voss P185 Concept Bomber. This German German WWII aircraft was never built but the concept should replace the Ju-87 "Stuka" and was also proposed as ground attack aircraft with a 75 mm tankkiller canon or two MK103 guns in a belly pod. My package provides a "what if" aircraft in five variants and four paint schemes: A) Dive bomber with three 500 kg bombs- B) Ground attack bomber with six 250 kg bombs and gun pod- C) Tank killer with 75 mm canon and two rocket pods- D) Air defence with a twin MG131 gun turret and two rocket pods- E) Marine/Navy variant wit two 45 cm torpedos. FSX Grumman Avenger TBM-3W The Eastern TBM-3W Avenger was an airborne early warning radar aircraft developed during the Second World War but that only entered service in May 1946. The TBM-3W joined the fleet in May 1946, and was soon paired with the TBM-3S in hunter-killer anti-submarine teams. The powerful radar in the -3W would be used to find a potential Soviet submarine, guiding the -3S onto its target. The -3W remained in service with the US fleet until the mid 1950. This was a user requested scenery. Located in South western Virginia, this Appalachian airport is great to fly out of into the mountains. Includes photo-realistic scenery, custom objects and FSX Default objects. Created by Tom Neubauer

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public.
