FSX/P3D Stornoway EGPO, Isle of Lewis, Scotland
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
63.80Mb (834 downloads)
Stornoway EGPO Freeware.
Medium-sized airfield located on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, near the town of Stornoway. Scenery is very accurate according to the latest (Feb 2016) charts and satellite images. Including seasonal photo background and some enhancements to the city of Stornoway. Blends nicely into ORBX Global / OpenLC EU.
Made for P3Dv3, but works fine in FSX:SE and should work in vanilla FSX and P3Dv4 too.

Correction for Aerobat C150 update
(Category: FSX > Props)
1.59Mb (834 downloads)
This is a correction for my update for FSX of
a Cessna 150 Aerobat painted and originally
modified by Mark "Fire Ball" Rooks from an
original model by Rancho JEN. The correction
is I added a switch for the panel lights,
sorry I did not catch that there was no panel
lights switch among the other switches. This
is the whole aircraft so you don't need two
downloads if you have not already downloaded
the original update. I have changed the 2D
panel to one from an FS2002 C150, and added a
VC from a different C152 by Mr. Rooks. I
have updated the flight dynamics; changed all
the contact points, and corrected the lights
positions. This one is for any of you who
like to fly into out of the way places with
short runways.

FSX ASTER_imp GDEMv2 30m mesh for South East Asia pt6
(Category: FSX > Terrain Mesh)
81.36Mb (834 downloads)
"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas.
This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data.
Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values.
But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands?
So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh.
Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public.

F6-F3 HellRaider.
(Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
4.63Mb (834 downloads)
CFS2
F6-F3 HellRaider. The
HellRaider is a modified F6 HellCat. It features a new .cfg, which
enables it to fly up to 5 times faster than the original Hellcat.
Also, it brings a new .dp, letting the plane fire much more heavier
rounds at MUCH more faster speeds, and in great quantities. In addition,
the HellRaider contains a real nice paint scheme with some jaws near
the nose (similar to the P40) and a nose art pic of a fictional gal.
The file contains all necessary aircraft files, there is no need to
change or add anything. Repaint, cfg, and dp modifications by Osmani
Cruz. 4.7MB
