Paul Clawson's Short Shetland, update V.1 2020, a set of improved (piglet) aircrew, dialed in material settings. dabbed some paint, improved the look of the painted on portholes. l'Azur seaplane numerical hull simulation installed. Sound alised to default FSX DC-3. A sound file with more grunt is really required. Milton's Ventura, fer instance, though a sleeve-valve engine sound set would be better. Only tested in FSX, though P3D compatability is fine. It's big, it's fast, smooth FPS and loads of fun.

This scenery mod will add Orlando Seaplane base to the scenery of FSX, P3D, and FSW. The airport is not present in the default scenery of any of these sims. In addition to adding the airport the scenery around Lake Apopka has been improved and there are even sound effects around the base. This scenery uses default objects so no additional downloads are required. Scenery is compatible with FSX+Acceleration, FSX Gold, FSX-SE, all versions of P3D, and Flight Sim World. For best results I recommend having ORBX Global plus vector and open LC installed, but these are not required.

FSX Fix for pilotable chinese Jiangwei-Class frigate. Due to reported very low framerates I reduced the size of the panel and replaced the airfiles. Just for overwriting. Configuration by Erwin Welker.

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. This is a fix for those cases where my Douglas B-18A (B18AvX.zip) or Boeing B-9 ( bb9vx.zip ) causes FSX to crash or give a overstressed error message when the airplane is loaded. By Paul Clawson
