Alphasim F-84F Textures Replacements

These are textures for the Alphasim F-84F available as freeware from Simviation.
They are not new textures, but replacements for the default bare-metal textures supplied with the model. They were developed from the paint kit available from Virtavia and will transform the tired-looking grey jets into silvery swept-wing fighters from the 1950s. The textures are in 32-bit .BMP format and have been tested in both FS9 and FSX-SP2. As long as you have a working copy of the Thunderstreak, whether the original FS2004 version or an FSX port-over, these textures will make your jet as fun to look at as it is to fly.

The default Flight Simulator database of VOR/NDB's is fast becoming out of date, Making VOR navigation using current IFR en-route charts impractical to impossible. When flying along charted airways, this discrepancy can cause you to become far off course. This update solves that problem by re-calibrating all navigation aids in Alaska based on information submitted to the FAA January 13, 2011. This allows you to accurately navigate using any navaid in Alaska while using current IFR en-route charts. This update includes magnetic variation data, and navaid position.
