de Havilland DH82A - Tiger Moth II for X-Plane 10.5 Aeroworx proudly presents the de Havilland DH82A Tiger Moth II The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth is a 1930s British biplane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland and built by the de Havilland Aircraft Company. In late 1934 50 Tiger Moths of a more refined design, sometimes referred to as the Tiger Moth II, were produced; these aircraft saw the adoption of the de Havilland Gipsy Major engine, capable of generating 130 HP, and the use of plywood decking on the rear fuselage in place of traditional fabric covering the stringers. Throughout the period 1934–1936 production activity was centred upon meeting the demand for military trainers. Civil examples were also being produced at this time. Percival K3 Vega Gull. The next development in the Vega Gull was the series 3 (or K3) model. A redesigned windscreen is the most obvious change as well as the loss of the overhead rear passenger windows. K3's were fitted with CSU operated Gipsy Six II or Gipsy Queen II & VP Props. This model tries to represent C/n 105, one of 8 ordered by the Air Ministry & taken on charge by 24 Sqdn Hendon in April 1939. She survived WWII & was sold to Essex Aero Ltd in 1945 becoming G-AHET. The paint scheme depicted as P5989 is shown here, having been totally re-textured under instruction from Nigel Richards, & with a lot of experimentation by me, to try and acheive a more realistic silver paint finish. (I think it looks better in FSX). Nigel also kindly let me use, as a basis for my male occupants faces, his, as used in his Avro 621 series models. G-AHET passed through various other owners, the most famous being Mike Hawthorn, the racing driver. She seems to have met her fate with Noel Husbands, being badly damaged in a forced landing in May 1960. Keith Paine

Garry Smith Archive Files: FS2004 Scenery - Transload Military Base - NAVY - YTNV - Port Smith. This is an imaginary Military Base created for Transload Virtual Airlines. And it's equipped with four major runways with lots of parking for military aircraft of all sizes. This scenery has tons of AI ships sailing within the local area and from an alternative area just 30km away. There are 200 AI aircraft parked throughout the base which depart/return to the base frequently - 1 to 3 AC depart every 5 minutes for Circuits. AI traffic use two runways for takeoffs and landings. All of the AI aircraft and all of the AI ships are contained in this scenery package. Aircraft included consist of: B747 (Airforce 1), C141B's, F16 D's, C130H's, and C130J's. Developed by Garry J. GZR_Guernsey is a CFS2/Fs2002Pro airfield and seaplane base . It is on Guernsey island In the English Channel. This installation makes it available in CFS2 and FS2002 Pro. This version is upgraded to include a floatplane base and night-lighted refueling pad. The set has multiple start locations in Free Flight. These were enhanced even further in Fs2002 Pro. If you Install it in Fs2002Pro (not sure about the Standard version); it will provide entry at several locations (See installation **Note).
