This scenery is offered as a gift to the Flight Sim community by Team SDB. The scenery is self-installing and includes accurate airbase arrangements and appropriate static aircraft.

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. Gary Gale Seaplane Base (0FL8) is a private seaplane base located in Florida, County: Duval, City: Jacksonville, Estimated, Distance from central business district: 8 mi (SW). The scenery was made with ADE9X and is in the correct position according to satellite views. I added Seaplane docks, static seaplanes and a medium and small marina to make landing here more interesting. The real Seaplane base does not have docking for seaplanes/float planes.

FS2002 Tree Macros I needed a few easy-to-use tree macros for my own use and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so I created these ones. They are a complete re-working of what I think are Gerrish Gray's original tree textures but updated as 16 Bit-444 extended bmps for FS2002. FS2002 Scenery RAF Holme-on-Spalding-More RAF Holme, as the station was commonly known, is situated in the county of Yorkshire, England, and opened in August 1941, under No1 Group, Bomber command. In 1954, the airfield was transferred to the USAAF, until 1957, when it was taken over by Blackburn Aviation, whose NA39 prototype, forerunner of the Buccaneer, first flew from here in 1958. On Thursday, December 15th 1983, British Aerospace's days at the old wartime bomber base came to an end. Most of the work was moved to Brough and the remainder to RAF Scampton. The airfield has now returned to agriculture. and the buildings used for industrial purposes. The scenery includes dynamic and static aircraft. By Steve Anderson. 172K
