10M terrain mesh files for the Galapagos Islands, Pacific Ocean. An archipelago of volcanic islands distributed on either side of the Equator in the Pacific Ocean, 926 km west of Ecuador.

This is a depiction of WSST during the Battle of Britain created for use by fellow members of the 91st Bombardment Group (H). As there was no substantial photos of the airfield and only a modern day aerial view, I did my best to recreate an accurate image from text and images of other Armee de l'Air airbases captured by the Nazis. This airfield is near Calais and was used by JU87 Stukas and smaller numbers of fighter aircraft.

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. Goddard Seadrome Seaplane Base (FD46), Goddard Seadrome Seaplane Base is a private seaplane base located in Frostproof, Florida, United States. It is classfied as a seaplane base and as such only available to approved aircraft. The scenery was made with ADE 1.50 and is in the correct position according to satellite views. Even though the real Airport does not have docking for seaplanes/float planes I have added them.
