SUPERMARINE SEAFIRE F Mk 47 for FS2000 This model depicts an aircraft of No.800 Royal Naval Air Squadron in early 1950. Later in the year the squadron embarked aboard the carrier HMS Triumph and headed for the Korean conflict. The Mk 47 was the final version of the Seafire, the RAF Spitfire equivalent being the Mk 24. The Mk 47 featured a Rolls Royce Griffon V12 of 2,375 h.p. with contra-rotating propellors and had a top speed of 452 m.p.h. at altitude. Other navalised modifications included folding wings and a “sting” tailhook. The model does not have folding wings but otherwise, most parts that should move do so. The “pilot” is an approximate likeness of Alex Henshaw in his later years who tested every version of the Spitfire/Seafire whilst with Supermarine. By Chris Lampard. 211K

FS2000 BAe Hawk MK.51 Finnish Air Force The BAe Hawk first flew on 21st August 1974 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1999. It is one of the most succesfull premier fast-jet trainer and it is used by the Royal Air Force and Finnish Air Force plus many others. The FAF operates 54 Hawk MK.51 and MK.51A's. This plane is #3 of the FAF's demonstration team called The Midnight Hawks, but because the planes are also in operational use all the time, they have the standard FAF camouflage paintjob. FS2000 Patty Wagstaff's Extra 300S A totally new design of Extra 300S. This design is a lot more realistic than the default Extra 300S, featuring for example transparent floor window etc. Real plane is built in Germany by Walter Extra. It features state-of-the-art carbon fiber wings, tail and control surfaces, a steel tube fuselage, and is powered by a Lycoming AE10-540 300hp engine. It achieves roll acceleration and roll rates usually found in advanced fighter jets, climbing at over 3400fpm and cruising above 200mph. The 300S is the only factory-built aircraft to consistently win against the fabled aerobatic specials of the former Eastern Bloc. This one is owned and flown by Patty Wagstaff. FS2004 Viscount 838 Dan Air Textures only. Built originally for Ghana Airways this aircraft eventually ended up on the UK register with British Midland. Passing over to Dan Air it caused quite a few raised eyebrows as for some never explained reason it was painted in the old livery that has been superseded sometime before. It went on to a career with Air Zimbawe as VP-WGC, later Z-WGC and was withdrawn by the beginning of the 'nineties. Requires the FSDS Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper Repaint by Garry Russell. 548K
