I am proud to present this highly detailed repaint of the Project Airbus A319-132 in Grupo TACA livery, registration N478TA, bearing the "Centro America" tourism logo on the engine cowlings. Transportes Aéreos del Continente Americano(TACA) comprises the following airlines; Aviateca, Lacsa, NICA, Taca International, Taca de Honduras and TACA Peru. Collectively, TACA flies to 21 different countries. It currently operates a fleet of primarily Airbus Aircraft; the A321, A320 and A319. Some of the logos on this aircraft are hand painted. Most repainted textures are 32-bit with no mipmaps. Repaint by Jeffrey S. Bryner, A319 IAE Model by Project Airbus. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. deHavilland DH114-2B DH114-2D Heron Package.
A little bit about the Heron... The deHavilland Heron was launched
in 1950 as the replacement for the four engine DH86 biplane.
It made use of a large number of components from the smaller
two engine DH104 Dove, but was given four engines and seats
for 14 passengers. The original Series 1B aircraft used Gipsy
Queen 30 engines and had fixed undercarriage. The later Series
2B were given retractable undercarriage. A large number of Herons
were re-engined with larger Avco Lycoming IO-540 engines and
designated as Series 2D. Note: No VC. By Carlos Marrero. 142MB
