Pacific Ghosts Republic P-47D-11-RE Thunderbolt 42-22896.
This aircraft belonged to the 41st Fighter Squadron of the 35th
Fighter Group. On March 11, 1944 the Thunderbolt was being flown
by 2/Lt George Gaffney on a mission to escort Liberators of
the 90th Bombardment Group. This is a standalone repaint of

Lanphier`s Mission Version2
On April 18, 1943, at 7:25 A.M. two G4M2 bombers and six A6M2 Zero
fighters met two P-38 fighters in combat off the coast of Bouganville
in the Solomon Islands. The lead P-38 was flown by an American named
Lanphier who was on a special mission from the Secretary of War to
shoot down Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto(the mastermind of Pearl Harbor).
This is his mission. This the fix to the first mission I designed
for CFS2. 94K

Malta: Malta is a WW2 base, loaded with b17s, c47s, hangers,
barracks, radar stations, refuel zone and 2 airstrips. AA guns border
the coast. I have kept this as WW2 as I can. A short run to Texas
makes this a good place for a bomb run. NDB is 430khz 63kb file. by

This aircraft, purchased by 'L.A.I.' during 1950, operated as
passenger liner until 1957. Repaint by Manuele Villa. 1.7MB
