This folder contains Turner and Lake Central airlines textures. Turner airlines was began by Roscoe Turner in 1947 and was later renamed Lake Central airlines using the same livery. These textures are for the FSX default DC-3 aircraft by Microsoft/Aces and modified James Eden and Jon Murchison. These textures require AWESUM4SUM.zip modification to the default FSX DC-3 Textures by Gary Harper.

RAF Rufforth for FS2002 and CFS2 by Mike Dews Rufforth was one of 20 airfields built in Yorkshire when the RAF bombing campaign against Germany gathered force in 1941. At Rufforth 600 acres of farm land was compulsorily purchased. The base was used by Halifax's of 7 Group Bomber Command until February 1943 when the last raid was launched. It then became an OCU unit until the end of WW2 when RAF use was wound down. Most of the land has now been returned to local farmers and a local gliding club is now based there. Location: Between York and Driffield, East Yorkshire, England. 655K

CFS2 Repaint FDG P-51D for "Duchess Arlene: Ottumwa, Iowa native Captain Robert Williams flew 50 combat missions and later wrote the original manuscript for the award winning 1995 HBO film "The Tuskegee Airmen" with his character portrayed by actor Laurence Fishburne. Captain Williams' P-51D Mustang named "Duchess Arlene" wore number 10 and is the featured paint scheme.Captain Williams' wartime sweetheart "Duchess Arlene" was Arlene Roberts of Moline, Illinois who later married Williams.Captain Williams flew from Italy with the 100th Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group of the 15th Air Force destroying two enemy aircraft between 1944-1945. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with six Oak Leaf Clusters and the Presidential Distinguished Unit Citation.
