FS2002 Douglas DC-3 Cambrian Airways (2) A DC-3 in two liveries. Cambrian Airways DC-3s flew classic "Union Jack" colours from 1954 to the mid-60s. Thereafter, the distinctive 'red bars' livery adorned the company's propliners. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, these models include transparent cockpit and cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. This is a repaint texture for the excellent Ilyushin IL-14 by W. Beckert. You need the original model (10639_IL-14P.zip) to see the result. CAAC is the state airline of China. Starting just before 1949, CAAC managed all non military aviation in the People's Republic of China. Scheduled domestic flights within the country were flown from 1949 up until 1962, when CAAC began operating international services. The Ilyushin IL-14 was the aircraft used on those routes at the time. There were even plans to license build the IL-14 in China under the designation Y-6 but in the end that did not happen. T-944 from GSTS is gaining more popularity as it's use increases. Unlike it's previous 2 versions T-947 and T-979, T-944 is also in a newer platform. Being used across the fire prone western United States and in Brazil in the last few years show promise in the large aerial firefighting tanker staying around. Capable of carrying 19,600 US Gallons, it carries double that of the DC-10 VLATs. The size of the 747 and it's complex tank have not been met without controversy and struggles, but GSTS has continued to push forward. Repaint by Nicholas Mitchell. These sky textures are spread through the changing 10 days of displaying that FS2004 gives us. All texture bitmaps are completely re-worked default FS2004 sky textures, not a single one of any of them remains as the default ones. There is no performance hit, as the bitmaps are of the same size and weight class of the original 140 default textures. The nighttime sky textures should bring new life to your night flights, having been completely re-worked this past month. 20 to 50 miles visibility setting for daytime works well, with 50 miles to unlimited visibility at nighttime whenever possible being best. These sky sets are each subtly different, practical, and realistic sets designed to grow on you instead of growing old to you.
