This repaint pack is for the payware Cera Sim UH-60L with the Firehawk mod from Sim-Outhouse. This mod and the payware Cera Sim UH-60L are required. This pack represents S-70 and UH-60 Firehawk helicopters newly acquired by various agencies in California. This pack includes Ventura County Sheriff, Cal Fire, San Diego Fire, and Santa Barbara County Fire's aircraft. Blackahawks modified by United Rotorcraft with 1,000 gallon external tanks, extended landing gear, and an assortment of other supporting mods are given the patented name "Firehawk," This is the easiest way to discern a Firehawk from the many other fire fighting Blackhawks. Los Angeles Country Fire was the first agency to receive the Firehawk in the late 1990s, where it has been used to great success. As a result of it's success the retirement of LA County's Bell 412s occurred. LA County now operates 5 Firehawks. Success of the platform has worked it's way through California recently as a push to retire the aging Huey platforms increased. Cal Fire announced it would be replacing it's aging fleet of Vietnam-era Super Huey's with 12 Firehawks. As of the end of 2019, Cal Fire has at least 4 of those 12 aircraft, one completed and the other 3 awaiting their final modifications. San Diego Fire and Ventura County have also received their completed Firehawks. Santa Barbara Country is the last agency to enter into the Firehawk market. Ventura also has a second Firehawk on order. All of the above mentioned aircraft are expected to enter service in 2020. Later packs are expected, so this is named pack 1. Repaints were created in P3D v4.5, and should be compatible with earlier versions of P3D and FSX, but may need file modification to appear properly. Repaints by Nicholas Mitchell.

There are Nineteen (19) parts to download for GDEMv2 of Australia. ASTER GDEM Version 2 is a 30 metre definition DEM, its better than the version 1 data that ERSDAC, of Japan and NASA originally released, but it does have its limitations. GDEM has been obtained from a satellite that uses stereoscopic infrared scanning cameras, this brings with it problems in the resultant data.....where it sees the tops of trees, buildings etc, as the ground terrain. If you look at the jpg image with the terrain type errors shown as a graph, you will see that the only 'safe' terrain to use this data with - in FSX - is scrubland, or desert terrain. Its hopeless in defining the terrain in places like Europe - with all the artificial structures, (buildings) and different types of woodland, so any mesh I create from this data won't include areas like that....it will be more desert type terrain, and scrubland. I won't be doing Greenland because something about the ice around Greenland, (or any other land mass with ice) it creates false data. It does give enough fine data to reveal railway lines, and some roads though. This mesh has been made for FSX only. This is an original model of the US Tamor class submarines, the oldest class to see major combat in the Pacific theatre. The Gato, Balao and Tench classes were all progressively improved versions of the this class. The Tambor class went into combat immediately following Pearl Harbor and formed the first Pacific wolf packs with the Gato boats just coming into service, The textures are by psullykeys, Pat Sullivan.
