North Pickenham 1944 USAAF, Norfolk, England

USAAF North Pickenham was home to the 491st, and the 492nd bomb groups during WW2.Due to heavy operational losses, the 492nd was replaced by the 491st from April 1944 to May 1945. Both groups used the B:24 Liberator. After WW2 North Pickenham was handed over to the Royal Air Force and during the 1950s was a major "Thor Missile" site. Now the old airfield is home to a large windfarm and the runways used as hardstandings for Turkey sheds!

value for an aircraft Model file. It is a 32 bit Windows program
designed as one solution to the small sized nature of add-on aircraft
in Cfs. It searches for a specific sequence of BGL instructions
in the Model file and, having found that sequence, updates a 16

Hunting Percival Pembroke C Mk52, "Sir Percy". The Pembroke
was manufactured by the Hunting Percival Aircraft Ltd, Luton,
England. The first Pembroke flew on November 21 1952. In connection
with the acquisition of Hawker Hunter fighter aircraft, Sweden
also bought 16 Pembroke's for transportation duty. In 1962 another
two units were bought from the Danish Airforce. Designated Tp83,
the Pembroke's served the Swedish Airforce between 1955 and
1977. "Sir Percy" is on of few Pembroke's still flying. By Bertil
