Yankee Station. South China Sea, Asia. Yankee Station consisting of 3 aircraft carriers and escorts situated in the South China Sea. Dynamic scenery includes A-6s, A-7s, Hawkeyes, F-4s and Sea Kings. This version will fix aircraft texture problems caused to Da Nang, Khe Sanh and Pleiku when adding this scenery on top of those. Yankee Station requires the other textures even though certain aircraft are not involved with this particular scenery. TINIAN and SAIPAN for FS2000......ONLY the way it was in 1945. It was built as a tribute to Nathan Hicks, "Nate", and all of the men of Tinian and Saipan. Nathan was the Navigator/Radar Operator on the B29 "genie". Genie was at Tinian in 1945 and part of the Japanese Air Offensive. Contains static & dynamic WW2 aircraft. 4.1MB

FS2004 Bell Helicopters' Auxillary practice runway located in Hurst, Texas (No longer exists). I have taken a few liberties and modified it a bit to make it a regular helicopter airport. It can also accomodate STOL aircraft (cessna's, ultralites, etc.). The only thing I have not been able to get rid of are a few trees and brush but it adds to the antiquity of the airport. 3K

FS2002 Douglas DC-3 Mandated Airlines VH-MAL This aircraft was previously 'Betsy', the founding aircraft of Cathay Pacific Airways. Here she is in the colours of Mandated Air Lines of Papua New Guinea, registration VH-MAL, 1955-1963. The thumbnail shows her as at 15 September 1960, when her co-pilot mistook the Captain's raised thumb on the starboard throttle as a signal to raise the gear. She came to an inglorious halt 2,700 feet from the start of her take-off run, severely damaged. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this model includes transparent cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details.
