This is an update for the Des Moines airport located is Des Monies, Iowa. Iowa is home to the first caucus in the U.S. This update will fix the taxiways, runway and light to match Google Earth images better. This airport was created using Airport Design Editor, Google Earth, http://www.city-data.com/. A news update is also included inside.

PEIR is a fictional airport near Nome Alaska. This is only the first version, but it has the functions of any international airport, including: -A fully functional ATC with specific Approach, Departure, Ground, and ATIS frequencies. -Both runways have ILS. -The longest runway 19R/01L (15000ft) has a GPS approach. -Two fuel parking spaces -Two working fuel trucks for all the GA parking spaces and all the gates east of runway 19R/01L -PAPI glide slope indicators for all runways. -Working jetways for all gates east of runway 19r/01L. I added a third runway reconfigured the gate names, taxi paths and the heli parking area.

Built in 1959 as CV-440-0, c/n 472, CA+031 was used by the Federal German Air Force between 1959 and 1974 for staff and material transports and on Government missions within Europe. Sold to Nor-Fly, it was then used mainly for for domestic and European charter flights. Last used by Aero Cedros in Mexico for passenger transport until around 2001. The full CalClassic model will be required.

Pilatus PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter for FSX by Tim Conrad in a Royal Netherlands Air Force livery. The PC-6C Turbo Porter has been an amazing contribution to the STOL aircraft fleet around the world for decades. It's robust airframe and excellent aerodynamics make the plane very popular for para-drops, but also for supply missions in remote area's throughout the globe. Despite it's age the aircraft is still widely in use. This repaint represents a "what-if" RNLAF PC-6C in toned down camouflage 336 Sqn colours, IFOR, Sarajevo 1996. The Sqn logo is the old Curacao (Netherlands Antilles) 336 version which back then ended their F-27 Maritime operations. The RNLAF did participate in the Former Yugoslav, Bosnian peace enforcing operation with aircraft including C-130's, F-16's, and BO-105CB's. The aircraft shares the same registration as my earlier Surinam based livery (PC-6C_KLU.zip), but weathered, tone-down camouflage and 24 years later. You need the excellent freeware PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter by Tim Conrad in order to use this repaint. Enjoy!

CFS2 P-43 Lancer....History: Built by Republic, the P-43 was a modification of the P-35. It had an early turbocharger and was quite fast for it's day. Roll was good but turn rate was poor. The turbocharger was not especially reliable and the fuel tanks were quite vulnerable, particularly in early models without self sealing tanks. The model was eventually dropped in favor of an all new model - the P-47B. 51 aircraft were eventually delivered to China under lend-lease and a few saw limited operation with the American Volunteer Group.
