Only half an hour after take off you receive the horrible news that Ivana has been overdue in her landing ETA to Coban. Two helicopters are already searching the area. She was heard making a Mayday several hours ago. You call the SAR authorities in Bananera and since you have full tanks they accept your offer to search the route...........and relay to you to search around your flight route. You are free to fly parallel to the flight plan 10 to 20 miles off the sides of the plan until you arrive in Coban..........You now concentrate on searching for the lost woman...If you find her you are authorized to land and pick her up. FS2002/FS2004 Fairey Rotodyne. This was a compound autogyro or gyrodyne. It took off and landed as a helicopter, and cruised as an autogyro with supplemental fixed wings. This would then cruise at speeds of about 150 knots to another city (say, London to Paris) where the rotor tip-jet system would be restarted for landing vertically in the city centre. FS2004/2002 North American CV-10T CargoBronc. Proposed, but unbuilt, cargo version of the OV-10 Bronco FAC aircraft. The OV-10T was proposed to the USAF by North American Rockwell as a small tactical transport and spec ops plane. In the end USAF interest waned, and no prototype was ever built. This "what if" CV-10T CargoBronc (my designation) represents a production plane in service with Air America in the late '60's.
